I have two senior rescue kitties that both came with feline herpies. In addition I noticed that seasonal changes flare up their herpies (or they also have allergies?) With both of them having multiple symptoms and issues, I have, for a very long time, been looking for something to help them with all the symptoms they’ve shown and I was never able to find that one solution that would help both, with all issues, that both would eat. As well as improve their skin and coats to a beautiful soft condition. THIS IS IT!!! Not only do they fee better, they look better! In December, they unfortunately ran out of this chew and I again tried just about everything out there to try to help my kitties and one would eat it and not the other, or one would throw up the new chew, etc… back to the drawing board. I contacted strawfield pets and they expressed their apologies but hoped to have a new batch by the end of May. The end of may came and went and unfortunately they still have been out of stock. I contacted them again and they apologized again, as they like many others are experiencing shortages on ingredients they need. They have graciously offered to help in any way they can until they are able to provide these chews again. I very rarely write reviews however, this one deserves it!!! These chews have been a god send for my fur babies and we anxiously await their return!! And the company deserves the kudos for trying to do their best to help a desperate fur mommy and her babies! Thank you! I will always be a customer!

Our cat with medical issues from head to toe (digestive and skin sensitivities, proclivity toward respiratory infections, etc.) went out of her mind when I opened this container and gave her one of the treats. She gobbled it up, then sniffed like a maniac and begged for more! I tried to give our other cat one (big, healthy & ornery), but he wasn't interested. I crumbled it up for him, and he said, "No, thanks." So, I wiped up the crumbles into a damp Kleenex and tossed in the bathroom trash. Five minutes later, I saw Falling-Apart Cat with an empty damp tissue sitting on the floor in front of her. She had gone into the trash, taken the crumbles out of the tissue, and eaten them! That's how much she loves them! So, maybe every cat won't go bonkers over these, but the cat in our house that needs Lysine absolutely LOVES them.

Used to buy this all the time for my cat and he loved it. Made his coat look and feel great. After they changed it he will no longer eat it 9 out of 10 times. Tried different ways to get him to eat it and he just won’t . It’s a shame, used to be a great product and waited a long time for the company to bring it back.

I bought these to try with my cat who has long fur and hairball issues. I thought she might like them since they are salmon flavored. Upon opening the jar they are very fishy smelling. My cat licked them a few times but would never actually eat them. I just ended up crumbling one a day on top of her food and she has been eating it that way. They do crumble well thankfully. I have noticed her coat feels softer but she has only been eating them a few days so I am not sure how they will do with her hairballs. Update: My cat has been eating these crumbled in her food now for a little over a week. I do want to say I have seen a difference in her fur. It's softer and shinier, her eyes seem brighter and she doesn't have as bad of eye watering as she used to, these also seemed to clear up the little patch of feline acne she had under her lower lip. Besides having to crumble them on her food I am impressed with the difference I have seen in my cat.

I bought these for my cat that has a sinus issue because lysine is helpful to clear up the mucus in his lungs. He hated these lol 😂 I understand that sometimes things are hit or a miss so I’m not disappointed about it. But just so you are aware (in case you wanna order them) they smell very strong and not the yummy kind of smell lol. They are bite size and slightly hard. My cat was not interested after the first wiff. I also have another cat that eats EVERYTHING cat food/treat related when it’s put in front of him and even he didn’t eat them. Like I said, I’m not disappointed, trying new treats and things always has a 50/50 chance and fortunately I could afford to lose the money on it. Just be warned that it may be more of a miss than a hit for your cat if they don’t like super stinky treats. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I found the original formula pretty close to perfect for our cats. When Amazon stopped carrying the chews, I reached out to Strawfield. They said that the chews weren’t being rotated properly with their stock so no more. They did also mention that there was going to be a New! Improved! Delicious! formula coming soon… So here we are. Is it the same? Nope. Will my cats eat it in the morning when I break them in half for all to enjoy? Yes. It did take a transition period, but as you probably know, I rule these cats with an iron fist, so what I SAY goes. There you have it. Give them a whirl.

Living with my feisty, middle aged cat in my car ATM, I find these chews really helpful and the ingredients seem safe for SissyKat. I use them as rewards (she loves them!), and to help her settle at night when I'm trying to sleep or when we are occasionally in a new space.

I saw all the bad reviews, but tried them anyway. Several months later I have noticed a marked difference with my kitty. No more dandruf, very active, no more throwing up. I crumble these up and mix with her food, so I can't comment on the flavor, or if she likes them. But if you are looking to get this for health reasons, I recommend! She has kidney disease, but I think these have helped stave off the progression a bit. I can praise these enough. I noticed a difference after 4 months of use. However, I wish the price was cheaper... but for what it does, I'll pay! Update 1-2-23: After going to the vet after 8 months these have indeed have help stave off the progression of my cat's kidney's disease - it must be the combination of the probotic and fish oil. I can't rave enough about these, I give her one a day in her first meal.
