I have never owned a flask. I rarely write a review. I do a lot of research before a purchase. I ended up buying this flask because it is made from solid Grade 2 Titanium (cap included), the funnel looked like a great idea, the Amazon price point of $57.39 was 2/3rds less than the large Snow Peak flask, the Vargo flask holds 8oz / the large Snow Peak holds 6 oz.The Vargo Flask arrived with 2 day prime shipping and was packaged well. I washed and filled it up with 8 oz's of Scotch. The threads on the cap are clean and work flawless. When the cap is totally unscrewed, it still remains well inside the lip of the flask, making it easy to remove and difficult to drop. This flask does Not leak. The funnel works great and appears durable. When I took a sip of Scotch, I liked the way my lower lip rested on the plastic funnel rather than the cold metal. The overall size of the flask is smaller than I expected. I was able to comfortably fit it into the back pocket of my pants without the top of the cap showing. It also fits in every interior jacket pocket that I have. The flask is totally concealable. The Vargo flask has a brushed look. It's finish does not shine like the snow peak flask. The edges of the Vargo flask are slightly rounded and comfortable. The bottom of the flask is flat and stands stable when filling or setting it down. The flask is very light and the titanium walls feel thin, but solid. I can't comment on how the funnel performs when pouring the remaining scotch from the flask back into the bottle. The scotch tasted delicious. Look no further, the Vargo Flask will provide you with a lifetime of enjoyment.Overall and without hesitation, I give the Vargo flask 5 stars and highly recommend the product.

This is just about the easiest review I have ever written…wow this is some flask.The look, the feel, the design of this flask is just exceptional. Satin finished titanium, solid (not thin or flexible at all) walls, smooth rounded edges, smooth screw-in stopper with a positive silicone seal, and the functional beauty of the silicone funnel just make this flask—THE Flask of all Flasks.Filling this flask is simplicity itself. Not a single drop of any spirit need ever be wasted as it is so simple to fill right to the brim…with any slight overfill caught in the funnel for decanting to enjoy or back to the bottle…I prefer the former approach! The 10mm opening is more than adequate to allow a fairly fast pour to fill the flask too…not a single back up burble was observed as is generally the case with the tiny funnels used to fill flasks.Overall, I cannot imagine a more well thought out flask design. The air-light titanium will not taint, the form factor is just eye-pleasing, the craftsmanship exceptional, and the built in funnel has addressed the centuries old major flask defect of filling the things.Perfection, and perfection at a reasonable price too. Easy 5 stars.

The only reason I'm giving four stars is because I wish the screw-on top were hinged to eliminate the possibility of it being lost or misplaced. Otherwise a great item.

Bought this in August 2016. Three years later, I am very satisfied with my purchase. I bought this to take to the theatre and any open bar event that is serving cheap whisky. (Life is too short to drink cheap whisky). Works well. Has not leaked after 3 years. Fits right into a jacket breast pocket.I am now ordering these for Christmas gifts for friends that have admired mine. The only negative is that the cap is not attached. I dropped the cap once in a dark theatre and had to wait until the end when the lights were turned on to find it t.

Its a pretty good flask and my favorite flask as of right now. There has not been any leaks so far which was my main concern. I don't necessarily think its worth the 75 bucks but if you want something that is easy to fill and don't wanna worry abt carrying a funnel around with you then this is it. There are replacement caps and funnel in case anyone is curious.

We ordered these with the intent of engraving them as wedding gifts. All 4 that we purchased were scratched, one of them badly. One of them also had what looked like a seam that ran through the letters on the front and all the way around the back, the others did not have this at all. I know they will scratch with use, but disappointing that a $75 flask had such minimal packaging that the product would get scratched up before it arrived. (most of the front of the flask is exposed by the packaging, the rest is covered by not very thick cardboard). With that said, they're light weight and as long as they hold liquid I'm sure the'll be appreciated by the recipients...

I fell upon this titanium flask as I was searching for one that wouldn't rust and wouldn't give off a metallic taste to the liquids inside. When I received the flask, the first thing I noticed was that it was made fairly well. It was lightweight and seemed sturdy. The problem came when I shined a flashlight into the flask. The bottom of the flask(inside) had some weird brown/black discoloration on it and the seams were brown(rust?). I was under the impression that this was 100% titanium, which shouldn't rust, but I guess there is some other type of metal being used. I have contacted Vargo customer service and am waiting on a response. I have attached a picture to show what I see inside the flask. It isn't a great picture but you can see the discoloration I am talking about. I have even tried to add boiling water into the flask to clean it out, but the discoloration is still there.

Titanium is vastly superior material for a flask that will hold your favorite adult beverage. This one has built in funnel. What the picture doesn't show is that the (silicone) funnel just flips down out of the way most of the time, but it's there when you want to use it -- a very clever design that I've never seen on any flask.No titanium flasks have a screw on lid holder - it must be hard to make out of titanium, but makes me nervous opening it on a chair lift and likelihood of fumbling the screwtop with gloves and dropping it. But if you can get by that, this is ideal.

It is a bit expensive, but it is the only flask you will ever need. Some of my friends have several flasks, but they never use them because they leak, or they are heavy, or they impart taste. I would rather just have one I will actually use than several cheaper flasks I will never use. Very well designed, practical and sleek. I take it on all my hiking trips and wish I had bought it sooner.

Product seems good, haven't had any issues with it.

Einfach super. It is light, strong, includes a funnel in its design (but you'll need to pour your alcohol a bit slowly). It is also stylish. Could not be improved upon.

Beautiful design! Just a little pricey...
