A Rollicking Good Read!
Almost from the first sentence, I was pulled into this lively and entertaining story of a young woman's quest to have a baby. Even though the challenges of infertility are all too familiar in today's society, this impressive debut offers a fresh and engaging perspective in the voice of its narrator and protagonist. I found myself laughing time and time again at her wry observations and silly asides even as she faced some of the most painful experiences imaginable. The reader can't help but marvel at what can be accomplished with sheer bravado - and copious amounts of wine! At the very least, I Wish There Were Baby Factories is a well told tale that pulls the reader along at a spirited pace. But it takes very little effort to see into the brave heart of this story and recognize it as a testament to determination and the power of hope.-- Linda

Great read by author Julie Weinberg!
I could not put this book down!!! Really, really enjoyed it. Looking forward to sharing this book with my book club ladies. I know that they can also relate to the trials and tribulations of the early years and the desire to have children. So glad this author took the time to tell her story. She tells her story with a brilliant ability to balance very difficult heartwrenching times with fun loving wit and humor. Looking forward to a sequel as surely there are many more stories that can be told and I would very much welcome another read by Julie Weinberg.

Not your typical mommy memoir
Julie Weinberg has a firm grip on the reality of being a young professional woman yearning to be a mother while balancing a long distance relationship with the love of her life. Her informal approach to the consciousness of DINKS on a quest to be the complete nuclear family makes you feel like you're right there with them. This is not your typical mommy memoir but a best friends guide to a day in modern life. You will share tears of pain, joy and success. Men and women alike will relate to the trials and tribulations of Lauren and Mack from beginning to end.

A Great Read!
A great first person story of the struggles of starting a family. It will make you laugh and cry, sometimes in the same chapter. It was well written and heartfelt. Very courageous for Julie to put herself out there. I hope it is an inspiration to those who are enduring the same challenges. I loved reading it. There were several occasions where I couldn't put it down.

LOVED IT!
Read this book in one sitting - could not put it down as I needed to know how it all ended for them! It is an emotional roller coaster of laughter and tears as the story unfolds. Despite the trauma the author manages to keep her sense of humor through it all. Loved all the political intrigue. Can't wait to read a sequel and learn more.
