Very happy with this purchase
These are incredible pans. They cook evenly and clean up so well. The only thing that may cause an issue is that they are not completely flat so things can slide around a bit. I purchased a second one because I’m so happy with the first.

Well-made, utilitarian frying pan
This pan is solidly constructed, the non-stick works well, and the size is adequate for most preparations. The pan is very easy to clean, but you must be careful to not keep the heat at high. The handle is made of bakelite and there is a risk of burning the bottom of the handle if you use gas burners and the flame is high. There is a red rubber attachment that is at the pan-end of the handle, which turns white when the pan is hot. I didn't find this very useful. The pan feels adequately heavy, and the lid is made well. Although it say you can use metal on this, I use non-stick safe material only for stirring, etc. The one defect is that the surface is not totally flat. particularly the center of the pan. But this has not been a big problem so far. Overall, I highly recommend this pan for its size, construction, ease of use, performance and price.

Excellent purchase
Love, love, love these pans. Even cooking and easy to clean. I now have removed all my pots and pans and they have now been replaced by all Vinchef products.

Ridiculously nonstick!
This is the slickest surface I've ever cooked on. I've been using the old nonstick style pans for years and thought I knew what to expect but when I scrambled some eggs in this pan for the first time I was actually grinning. It's crazily nonstick. Clean up is an absolute breeze. Okay, it's nonstick, you got that, let's move on. I bought it to replace another 8" pan and the only disappointment to me is the shape is different. I like a small fry pan to have sloping sides while this one has nearly straight (vertical) sides with a fairly tight curve between the sides and the bottom. I prefer the former because I want to be able to slide things out onto a plate while a straight-sided pan makes that a bit difficult. That's on me for not studying the pics better, and maybe you prefer the straight-sided pan anyway. For those who care, the more vertical sides also mean the flat bottom of this pan has a larger diameter than would an equal diameter (8" at the rim) pan with more sloping sides. Before I used it I thought it seems too light and maybe a bit too thin but in practice I find the heat distribution to be excellent. The handle is a great shape and is beefy, with a grippy surface. Will the fake wood grain look last? Only time will tell but I expect it will. And I like the color. I've never had to assemble a pan before but it's simple so don't let that hold you back, though you might struggle slightly if you don't have a fairly long screw driver. The handle comes separate and they give you an extra screw and washer. Why the extra parts? Dunno. The little red thing you see in the pics between the handle and the pan feels like silicone and it changes color as the pan heats up. I figured the "temperature sensor" was just a gimmick but I'm surprised to admit I'm actually using it. The first few times I used the pan I paid attention to the position of the color change line as it advanced, just out of curiosity, but then I realized I really can correlate its position (roughly) to the amount of heat I want before putting things in the pan. I don't know how long this particular nonstick material will last but I'm a pessimist re any applied coatings so I'll be hand washing, just to be safe, and not using any metal utensils...same reason.

Quality coating and temperature sensing handle for cheap
Item: Vinchef Nonstick Frying Pan Anti Scratch,9.5 Inch Skillet Cast Aluminum Cookware, Induction Compatible Seller: Vinchef Store TL;DR: Non-stick coating seems good, and hasn't deformed or change colors after a few uses, also appreciate the temperature sensing feature of handle. Needed a new nonstick frying pan cuz the coating on these pans seems to only last about a year. This one was cheap at $16 and upon delivery, I found the coating to be more durable then prior pans I have purchased. Unlike other non-sticks, the coating seems to be textured, giving it the feel of an iron-cast pan. I heat the pan at 1400 Watts on an induction stove and found no discoloration after 4 uses where other (poorly made) pans would start to yellow. Also, I didn't expect this, but the handle has a piece of temperature sensitive rubber or silicone that changes color once pan gets hot. Once you start seeing it turn white, the pan will be about ~370F. It's a cheap pan so I am not expecting much more then for it to last at least a year. I wash it in a dishwasher, and don't plan on subjecting to any higher setting than the 1400 watt setting. Will update review later after longer use.

The nonstick will last for a while.
So far so good! Still very new! Good weight, nicely build. Non stick surface seems solid that can last for a while. 11 inch is a good size for me, very convenient to use. It doesn’t come with a lid. Cooking foods well.

Still nonstick after a year
I just realized I’ve owned this pan for a full year. I use it almost every day, and it is WONDERFUL. I don’t use metal on it, and never dishwasher. I sometimes oil it and heat it / wipe it out after cooking (but only maybe once a month for oiling it) and it’s still nonstick and amazing! And it’s the only pan I own. So if you’re looking for a reliable pan— here ya go, for $24.99 on Amazon it could be yours!!

IF YOU DO THIS IT WILL STAY LIKE NEW FOR A VERY LONG TIME... Remember to treat it as you would a cast iron pan, start high to heat it up then turn it down to med-low or it will burn. Do not use metal on it, use silicon or plastic (that's just common sense) When you are done cooking with it wash it out immediately with water (no soap, use a cloth if required) then wipe dry with a paper towel.
