This is the cutest thing!. I bought it for my Maltese dog which looks like the plush lol. Many people says in comments that is small, I think it is a normal plush size for small and medium dogs because it easy for them to carry around. Mi dog loves it!

I got this for my Grandma who was just diagnosed with dimentia. This dog looks like my small dog that she adores and I thought it would be a good companion for her in the nursing home. The dog is small, but it is super soft and just the right size for her. Everyone comments on how cute and soft it is. If you are looking for a small stuffed animal at a great price, this is definitely it!

Bichon Frise’s are somewhat rare, in the United States. They actually date back 4,000 years to the Mediterranean area. They were calledBichon Tenerife.In 1952, a couple from Chicago, were traveling in Europe. In France, they saw a Bichon Frise, thought they were the cutest dogs alive. They brought 2, home a male and female. They entered the United States in 1952.I had never heard of the breed. While shopping with my son, who needed, dress clothes. My brother- in -law worked at the store, when we entered, I saw a white, cute dog, running around. I asked my brother-in-law, whose he was. The store owner, owned the dog, I asked if I could talk to him. He gave me the card, of the breeder, where he got his Bichon.I called her as soon as I got home. I told her, I wanted to get one. I went to her house, she kept the puppies in her kitchen. I wanted a male.We got him in May of 1995. They have one of the longest life expectancy, 16-17 years. This little dog is so adorable, soft and cute. I got it for an activity to share with my Pre K class. After reading them the story of "Dog's Colorful Day,"by Emma Dodd. I cut colored felt pieces to represent each color spot in the story so that my students could revisit the story and place each one inch felt dot in the appropriate place on this Douglas Dandelion Puff Bichon Dog so that the spots matched the story. They love it!!

It is 8 inches from the very tip of the nose to the end of the tail if you stretch it out. Really should be advertised as closer to a 6 inch stuffed animal. Otherwise it is soft and cute but not worth the over $10 price tag.
