Arrived on time. Quality is as described. Temperature seems to be accurate. It really helped with the cooking process on the grill.

I purchased this to monitor my cars ac vent temperature. We live in the hot desert and it helps diagnose if your AC system may need to be recharged based on vent temperature. It came with a battery ready to go. Turn it on and it's working. Great little thermometer.

Works great! Bigger than I thought it would be, which is awesome as it's easy to see. Purchased it to make peanut brittle for the holidays, after my old thermometer broke. I stepped up and bought this one, based upon other reviews.It's much sturdier and more quality made than the old fashioned thin glass candy thermometers. It's quite large, but has a clasp on the back that you hook to the side of your pan. You can see the temperature quite easily, and it worked just as I hoped. Spend the little extra money and get this one. If you are going to the bother of making home made candies, don't rely on a shoddy thermometer.

With the clip being adjustable, I am able to use this in both my small (12oz) and large (20oz) frothing pitchers.Pros: Did both the boiling water and ice water test, no need to adjust calibration out of the package. Using this multiple times daily, with just a quick rinse and wipe with a clean cloth after each use, it has kept its new appearance. I use the Profitec frothing pitchers, and they have a slight curved lip on the edge and still no issue with using the thermometer clip. No moisture under the dial as of yet either.Cons: Wish the 140-160 range was marked better (like some others where they shade the range between the 2 numbers in green, etc.) vs just using red numbers for these degrees. I know it's only a 1" dial, ,but wished the numbers were a little bigger or in bold to make them easier to see.

This thermometer is supposed to measure surface heat up to 700 degrees. After one use, see pic, the unit’s bright dial turned smoky and unreadable. But thanks to Amazon I got refunded for the item.

I knew my oven thermostat wasn't right! Now I know to lower it by 20 degrees and food doesn't burn. Just hook it towards the back and all you need to do is check it when your oven heats up and see if temps match. Mine just stays in there
