These are not nickel free! I missed this in the description when I bought them! My ears began to itch immediately after I put them on.

Q: My daughter's piercing studs fell out and its only been 3 weeks. Can i put these in as a replacement?

Yes, these would work well as a replacement. However, I would immediately put any earring you have on hand in her holes to keep them open. Both of my daughters lost an earring within weeks of getting ears pierced and in both cases the hole closed before we noticed the missing earring. We had to go back to the salon and have them repierced {and had to purchase another expensive set of studs from the salon).
