Definitely an extra firm pillow. I like soft pillows but constantly have to fluff them and was not getting the support. Tried a neck pillow - still wasn’t firm. Other reviews mentioned this was really firm and I gave it a shot. I have slept really well. Yes it’s firm but once your head is on it and laying down the firmness feeling goes away and feels like a normal pillow so it’s not uncomfortable when sleeping. Our heads are heavy and this helps with my neck pain that I had from old pillows.

Update: 8/2026 I order this again and DID NOT get what I got last time. The tag says something else than FirmNest. It is super soft like every other memory foam pillow. Now, the texture is different. The size is different. I was extremely disappointed because I thought I finally had found the perfect firm pillow that says firm longer than two weeks but this one, my head immediately sunk into it and I even let it sit out for two days. These are comparison pictures of the new one compared to the old one. The old one is the dark blue one, and the new one is the light gray striped one the gray one may seem like it’s puffier, but my head sinks immediately into it. Please make the pillow you use to. It was the only pillow I could find on Amazon that wasn’t super soft and that I comfortable for side sleeping. March 2026 I actually LOVE this pillow. I went through SO many pillows as a side sleeper. It started to feel hopeless…. This one was pretty firm when I laid on it at first. I sat on it for an hour and it softened perfectly.

Very firm pillow - just as advertised. I bought 2 pillows and I angled them to support both my back and neck. Best sleep I’ve had in YEARS.

Great firm Pillow. Firm enough for me, right size, and it flat. Might even buy another one. If you want firm this is the one to get and it does not have a terrible smell either.

It’s almost too firm. I love a firm pillow, but this is almost like sleeping on a board. Really doesn’t have any type of give. It does support, however maybe too much for me. It’s a nice queen sized pillow. The quality of the material is nice and it does have a nice cooling effect. I don’t think it’s a bad pillow, however it would not be my first choice to buy.

This pilow is absolutely the best support as I'm a side sleeper.

Well it's very extra firm, no play at all. I like firm pillow but this doesn't fell like pillow. It feel like pillow cover on a brick.
