A Glimpse at my Guitar's Lineage
When I bought my Martin HD28E Retro, I wanted to learn more of the history of C.F Martin & Co. This book was the best starting point. Well written, very informative, and lots and lots of pictures. Their history is so cool, that going through the book once isn't enough. After going through it, you will have a deeper and broader respect and admiration for Martin guitars. Outside of playing a Martin guitar, this book will make you see why they are the most respected guitar makers out there. It's those same reasons why stars like Johnny Cash, Eric Clapton, Paul Simon, Elvis, and countless others have used Martin guitars.

A Great Book about Martin Guitars
"Images of America: C. F. Martin & Co" is a nice and good book. And so it is, among other things, due to the emphasis given by Dick Boak to the resilience of the Martin family, as producers of the exceptional Martin Guitars. In this sense, he points out in the first paragraph of his book, a great truth: "Few family business survive the first generation, (...) C. F. Martin & Co. is unique and special family business with an alluring product and an amazing heritage. The dark, fragrant attic above the original 1859 section of the old North Street Martin factory in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, contains many relics:.. antique guitar molds, ancient parts, old workbenches, and scores of wooden toolboxes and crases." That's it. We are facing a disciplined family of innovative entrepreneurs, who continue encouraging those who knows their products. The book is as special as the Martin products. Martin guitars.
I've had my Martin since 1974. I've toured the factory about a dozen times over the last 40+ years. Each time I visit the Nazareth, PA facility, there's a new machine and a few less people involved in making the guitars. Buy the book now! If you procrastinate, you may be forced to download the information.

A Glimpse of Early America - Viewed through a Martin Guitar Soundhole!
This is a wonderful collection of photographs that any Martin guitar enthusiast will appreciate. The picture of Chris Martin IV (CEO of Martin Guitars) on page 100, was well worth the price of the book, all by itself!! This is a great addition to my library and gives real insight as to how, and where, my Martin HD-28 (2008) was made. Thanks, Jack

I love the Images of America books
I love the Images of America books, and I love guitars. This book has both, and I will be looking at this for years to come. The history of this iconic American company as well as the process of producing guitars are both fascinating subjects.
