Amazon Basics Traditional Bathroom Straight Towel Bar, 18 Inch, Oil Rubbed Bronze

A winner. Strong. Very attractive looking. Relatively easy to install with provided drilling template. All hardware and tool you need are provided. Very nice packaging in soft thick plastic to protect finish, even though the box is fairly robust. Regardless, they've all come through in perfect condition. Once installed (correctly), they're very sturdy, but I wouldn't recommend trying to use them as a handrail even if they're screwed into a stud due to the lightweight attachment to the mounting plate. All in all, highly recommended and a very good value.

My particular bar was about 1/8" larger than the template that had been included for installation. But that was a pretty easy fix--you can just draw a new line next to their existing guidelines to get it all nice and properly centered. It probably would have still worked if I'd installed it as the template suggested since there's some wiggle room, but I didn't want to take the chance and just made sure the holes would be centered the screws of the rod. As a more minor note, the drywall anchors were GREAT! Usually you get cheap useless ones in a kit like this, but the ones included were sturdy and awesome. Once installed it works great. Holds towels like expected, etc.

Perfect color match to my existing faucet & bathroom fixtures. Very sturdy and it was easy to install & hang on the wall.

I needed a couple of towel bars for a guest bathroom and these fit the general requirements as to size, color, cost, etc. I bought one to see if it fit and looked OK in person, which it did, so I bought a second one to match. The installation instructions included a template, which would be very useful for installation on a flat (sheetrock) wall. However, my installations were on a paneled door with an uneven surface, so it was hard to get the template to line up accurately and the final result was slightly out of line. However, the slightly misaligned towel bar is on the back of a door that is open most of the time, so probably no one besides me will ever spot the problem. I deducted one star because the finish is not as fine as costlier towel bars and because a paper template was included instead of a thin cardboard template that would have been more stable when doing a layout over an uneven paneled door.

In our upstairs bath I bought this because I assumed it’d be kinky and no guests would see it. Downstairs I put a name brand towel bar I bought at one of the big boxes. Holy cow that was junk! I had low expectations for the Amazon Basic brand after that but I am pleasantly surprised! It’s even sturdier than the name brand, looks like a fine bathroom piece for next to no money and was super easy to install! Buy it!

Needed a towel rack in the guest bath, but didn’t want to pay big box store price. These fit the bill perfectly. It arrived yesterday and within half an hour it was on the wall. It came with wall anchors, screws, a direction book, in a box that could have shipped glassware. You need a drill, level and a two screw drivers to install this item. Goo purchase, I will order again when I fix up the basement bathroom.

The paper template is especially helpful for leveling and knowing where to drill -- but don't chuck the box and then complain you didn't get one: it's tucked in a corner and is easy to miss. I used an eyeglass screwdriver to adjust the tiny screws in the end pieces. I was able to put this up on my own quite quickly. A nice-looking product and a bargain to boot.

Gefällt mir sehr gut. Die Montage ist gut dokumentiert und fällt auch ungeübten Heimwerkern ganz sicher leicht. Sieht gut aus und ist dennoch sehr funktional. Den günstigen Preis sieht man ihm nicht an.

Not sturdy at all. It wasn’t easy to install and it’s just a waste of money. Don’t recommend
