Must have diaper shell!
As someone new to cloth diapering, finding the right one can be overwhelming. These diapers are a must have! I use them for my toddler, who is 21 months old. So I can't share how they fit babies. But to give an idea for older tots, here's what I have to say.Used for? 21 month old BOY, weighs approximately 28lbsForgive me now, I don't know all the lingo for cloth diapering.PROS:1. Many sizing options. My son is a little on the tall side, not overly tall, but tall none the less. I can either button down one level, or just use it on the largest size. Really depends how lazy I'm being.2. Waist size options! My goodness this sucker can snap for slender babies and chunky babies alike. The waist flaps even snap onto each other for small babies. There is also the option of the extra hip snap. I have another CD and it works, but only offers a minimal hip snap. These diapers offer the extra hip/leg snap all the way across, same amount as the waist! This is AMAZING!3. Leg gussets? I think that's what it is called. It offers 2 layers of elastic around the legs. The inner, and the outside. I love this feature, as it offers more leak resistance. And really holds things in (we had one explosive diaper I'm fairly certain would have been a disaster in any of my other diapers)4. You can use any style insert in it, including the snap type. If you look at my photos, I'm pointing to a snap. That is for the inside, to allow you to snap inserts INSIDE the diaper.5. Large insert coverage...I'm not sure how to phrase that part. But the flaps inside the diaper for holding the inserts are longer than my other type. This can be a slight downside, but easily remedied. I recommend using a liner that isn't tucked inside. If not, then poop WILL get on the diaper portion that isn't easily wiped off and you'll need a new one.CONS:This really isn't a bad thing, but thought I would share it anyway1. Poop can get to the diaper inside. If it reaches the back of the diaper, you really can't just wipe it off and reuse it. You will need to change the diaper to a new one at that change. This can be fixed by using a liner (not insert) that you place on the top of the insert and diaper. Do not tuck it inside the flaps with the insert. These diapers truly are amazing and I recommend them to anyone looking for a good diaper and an affordable price.

Functional diaper covers, would improve a few things
I like these fresh designs, very cute! However, the double gusset can be hard to clean. I wish they would sew the cotton cloth over the waterproof lining like the old pocket style. That is much easier to clean. That way I’m not trying to get mess out of very hard to clean places and turning things inside out etc. Otherwise the snaps are sturdy, they don’t come apart or pull the diaper apart. Functional, but hard to spray off. High quality sewing and materials!!

Great diaper cover, great price
Purchased these covers on a whim because of the price. At $5/cover, I figured there wasn’t much harm if I ended up disliking them. However, we love them and they are our favorite diaper cover to date!!We waited until our baby was around 10lbs to start cloth diaperin. He is currently around 12-13lbs and.m we have the rise at the smallest setting. The double gussets on the legs are great. Both sets of elastic fit snugly around my baby’s legs and prevent leaks— which I cannot say for the other brands of diaper covers we have tried, which were at least double the price per diaper. We use these diapers with the Happy Endings Eco Diaper gusseted charcoal inserts. They snap into the interior of these covers and fit nicely inside. Several reviewers noted the cotton lining inside with the snaps being problematic because it absorbed too much and required more frequent cover changes. I have noticed it can get damp, but with our inserts, it really doesn’t present that big of a problem. We do diapers changes every 2-3 hours, and we use only 2-3 covers per day.We have only been using these for a short period of time, so I cannot comment on the durability or how well they will hold up in the wash. The only thing I’d ask is for more cute prints for baby boys! :-)

Used to disappoint; Now they are great
REVISED REVIEW: I have had a complete change of heart. It's been a year and I actually really like these covers a lot. No, they aren't 100% waterproof on the inside. This means you CAN'T wipe out the inside and reuse them before washing. BUT if you use them one at a time and just have a good amount of covers, it's totally fine. I would say you would need no LESS than a dozen of these covers and lots of inserts. But really, you would need more than that for a good system. These didn't work with the way I used to use cloth diapers but hey, I needed some so I just dealt with it. These are totally fine. They are a good price. They're cute and they are perfectly functional. The elastics can still be kind of tight on chunky legs but they aren't bothersome on our babies extra chunky legs. So if you want something economical, these are totally fine. Thanks for reading!ORIGINAL REVIEW: I really want to like these diaper covers but I just don't. I've been cloth diapering on and off again for 7 years and our method is the most economical: waterproof covers and prefolds inside. THAT'S IT! Nothing fancy, no snappis, no inserts inside pockets. Just a cover and some liners. Well, this is a great deal but...there's much better out there because of some basic problems with the design of these covers.1. The elastics are very tight around the legs and there's no way to really adjust that.2. The pockets on the inside that hold the liners are pretty long which isn't terrible? But its inconvenient when you're trying to wipe them down/clean them.3. My LEAST favorite part is inside the cover, there's a wide layer of cotton fabric where the snaps are. So your waterproof cover actually has cotton inside that gets wet with every single use (see photo). One of the coolest benefits to waterproof covers is that they are WATERPROOF and can be wiped down and reused a few times before needing to throw them in the wash. I am certain this cotton layer is to reinforce the snaps but other covers make them skinnier so you can reuse them (Flip covers for example).Maybe people don't care about washing every single time with every single diaper but that means you have to buy a lot more. I'd rather spend the money on a few REALLY good covers than have to buy a ton and rewash every single time. I'm hoping to return them. 2 stars for being so adorable and cheap but that's all i've got.UPDATE: I've looked into returning them. Even though amazon will take them back, it's at a rate of 50% because it's used (as in washed before putting on baby) and minus the shipping cost of $6. So that leaves me with $9 and no covers? I guess i'm stuck with them as last minute back ups. Next time i'll be much more picky about what I order from amazon :/ALSO I just bought new flip covers. They have a much larger piece of fabric reinforcing the snaps now BUT the fabric is not cotton. It is waterproof or PUl fabric which means they can truly be wiped out and reused like I wanted. So to me, they are still the best

Not usable
The fabric touching baby skin is hard and it is irritating baby’s skin as it is rubbing against the skin. Waste of time. Returned.

Just what I needed!
My SIL gave me her cloth diapers from 15+ years ago but I needed new covers. These have been perfect. They have a ton of snaps so they’re suitable for all sizes and will continue to grow with my son.
