Bought this to assist my wife in/out of the shower following a hip replacement operation. I was a little aprehensive given a few slightly negative reviews, but I shouldn't have worried, it's absolutely brilliant. I paid a premium for same day delivery and that worked out perfectly. It was very easy to fit - the instructions were extremely clear, installed on a smooth tiled surface it is "rock solid". Would certainly recommend this.

Well up to the job! I can now confidently step into my bath/shower. Extremely strong with comfortable grip. Fitting was easy, but a strong hand is required to push lever in to ensure vacuum seal. Well made product.

These suction grab rails are brilliant - I’ve just had a hip replacement and can’t sit down easily or walk into the shower unaided. I have 2 rails in the shower and 1 by the side of the toilet and they do the job of giving me extra support in the bathroom. My husband (who’s in his 70s) found them easy to set up, they are rock solid when installed correctly as per the instructions and can be easily taken down and moved if necessary. Very good buy - would definitely recommend.

Bought these for my partner's parents bathroom. They had a new bathroom fitted and wanted me to install a drilled handle as the fitter didn't want to risk cracking the tile.I felt that if the professional bathroom fitter was worried he would crack the tile, it was pretty certain I would.Anyway, I ordered these despite the sceptism of my partner's mum, they'd tried similar before without success however these did the task well and the suction was excellent.They are well made and the individual fastening for each end means they have held well at their house.I ordered 2 but only used 1 and I did try to fit the other at my bathroom but for some reason it hasn't held well there - maybe my tiles aren't smooth enough.It looks good and is shaped to fit the hand well so is comfortable.The one I have fitted doesn't move around when the suction is properly engaged.

Bought for a relative after a fall that led to mutliple fractures and a hip replacement, these have been really useful in the post-recovery stages and continue to be used. One has been placed in the shower and the other in a separate toilet to aid with stabilisation when standing and to help with getting into and out of a sitting position. I've found them to be solid, easy to grip and very stable once applied to clean dry surfaces - the toilet has large tiles and the shower has single-piece shower panel/boards. They haven't budged and have remained in place on these surfaces since application. I was initially concerned that the one in the shower may slide or slip once the panel got wet but it's remained in situ.

Bought this as my wife can be quite unsteady in the bath while showering, I have also used this when my body isn't playing ball.I have tried many othet safety rails but this one has beat them all out & for the price, it's worth every penny.Installation is so simple & it's the safest one I've bought - even after doing a pulling test on it, it stayed put.

I really liked them at the start, but they did come away from the wall slightly, so had to take them off the wall.
