Looks just like the picture they posted, I like the dark brown though they did need to paint the stain on super thick to achieve it and that shows. the waterproofing coating is a little glossy which detracts from the naturalness of the wood but is practical. Its nowhere near as heavy as a glass mug of the same size would be, while being very sturdy. the lip feels unexpectedly thick when drinking due to the thickness of the wood and metal. All that is this mug being what it is and could be a pro or con depending on what you are looking for. there is one thing however it is not, and that is a 20 oz mug. I filled a water bottle up to the 16 oz capacity line and transferred that to the mug and as you can see in the picture it is about as full as you can safely fill it. I do NOT believe that this is a 20 oz capacity mug as advertised. which was the deciding factor in me choosing it.Edit: after a few months the wooden shell split in several places one leaving a half a centimeter gap from top to bottom. the fabric bindings (black rings) are keeping everything contained and usable but the splits and significantly lighter unpainted wood they expose do detract from the appearance.

So I enjoy collecting steins both for use and... well no pretty much I use all my steins at some point. This is the first one that I have decided to make purely a set piece and that is because the craftsmanship is not good at all. The wood is shaped nice and I had to bend the hinge back in place but the Finish is all over the place even the metal insert cup was covered in residue. I washed it about 3 times and it still has fumes from the stain so I do not intend to ever drink out of this unless I desire it to be my last cup and I would not recommend this at all for a drinking vessel to tell the truth.

It is a wonderful mug with excellent quality! Also it is pretty big (bigger then I expected 😊). The mug was made great: no glue, no smell, thought out all details. It is a real wood and you can smell it. I love it! This beer mug is very comfortable to hold in hand. You can use it not only for beer as well. Also I love drink water)I recommend it for sure!!! And I know what present my friends will get for b-day 😁😁😁

Horrible strong stain odor, and is also sticky from the stain of the mug. Much darker than the actual photo. Don’t think it’s even safe to drink out of. And lifting up the lid with the handle is very dark to do and it sticks bad and is stiff. Will be returning this item. Very disappointed, got it to give as a gift...

I received the product on the day I was supposed to. It is a nice looking cup, but when my friends and I tried to use the cups, all of our handles became unattached at the bottom, with one cup having the whole handle come off. It still works without the handle, but it's just nice to have the handle to hold onto.

The mug is so simple it’s beautiful ! Being of northeastern European decent , I love the farmer / working man appeal of it. It’s a fun mug that’s practical and durable .
