Color & Lift Refill (Gray)

Unlike other powder root coverups I've tried, this one doesn't disappear after brushing. Maybe if you brush from the roots frequently it will only last two days, but if like me you only do it in the morning and at night, it lasts four to five days. I'll use a comb or brush a few times during the day to keep it neat without starting at the roots.

Thinning hair, it covers up scalp.

The Clairol red root spray is too dark for my henna-on-gray hair. This matches perfectly. To try it I didn't buy the version with the applicator brush, just this refill, and used a makeup brush to apply it to the roots.

As a plus I liked that it came in white as I no longer color my hair and it’s thinning. I liked that for me it not only created the look of volume without looking like a cotton ball or q-tip but it covered spots where my hair was thinner so you didn’t see so much obvious scalp as well as I found it to be an added protection from the sun. The only negative I found so far was it didn’t play well with other products but I guess that’s why they say less is more.

In between root touchups this product fills the bill! Easy to use, have to be a little careful, it could make a mess, but covers the gray and gives fine hair some lift.

This stuff is miraculous. It hides gray and fills in thinning areas perfectly all while giving fine hair a little thickness. Well worth the money.

The color is great, no complaints there.I am transitioning colors I bought this as they didn’t have color with brush. So I washed out my other brush to attach it but other color keeps coming thru.

Same details as one line review above. Does take a couple of practices to determine how much powder to release and use.
