Q: how long is the handle?

The handle by itself is 45". From bottom of the broom to top of handle is 53".

Q: Does the handle have a loop or opening so that the broom can be hung?

Yes. There is a large opening in a black plastic "cap" over the top of the handle to allow for hanging.

Q: Are the bristles soft or stiff?

The bristles are soft- I love it!

Q: I work in MRI department. does the broom have any metal in it on handle or anyware

There is no reason that a broom should be left inside a regulatory approved MRI scanning room while the MRI is being used. Storing a BROOM inside an MRI scanning room is unsanitary, and most certainly would not comply with “clean room” protocols expected in rooms where MRI’s are used. I would expect, or at least hope, that any personnel working anywhere near an MRI would have at least the very basic understanding that the presence of metal is only of concern while a scan is being performed. It would also be entirely improper for “housecleaning” to be conducted at the same time a scan is occurring, not only for the safety of the patient, but also for any person who might be doing the cleaning. Obviously, if the MRI is not actively conducting a scan, the presence of any type of metal is of no consequence.
