Simple installation, looks great.
Chose these over the rally armor because in the end they're just plastic for a cheaper price. Installation was simple and easy after you do your first one. Installation video that they link too is super helpful. No drilling is required, it all mounts up to the factory holes.

Installation hardware isn't great
The flaps themselves are well made & look great on my 2020 WRX.The real trouble is with the screw rivets that go on the rear. They're make of stiff & very brittle plastic & I broke both tabs off of 3 of the 4 that came in the hardware kit just trying to press them in the holes with my thumb & not even using any tools. So minus some installation points for having to put my tires back on and run to A Auto Parts store to spend an extra $12 on stuff that wasn't quite right but still might work. Subaru bumper screw rivets did actually work with the screws that came in the kit though. It didn't cause me any problems, but I question their decision to use thick plastic screw clips that could possibly strip out instead of thinner metal ones that would go on easier & be more durable.I also really wish the screws were powder coated or black anodized, because the stainless looks pretty tacky against the black flaps & now I have to spent another $17 on touch up paint plus take the time to slap it on the screws after the install

Could have been a 5 star, but...
I took a couple of stars off, mainly for lack of written instructions. That has become a major sore point for me when I buy something that needs to be assembled or installed. Yes, they have a link and a video, but nothing beats a hard copy you can lay out on a table and refer to as you go along. Reviewing a video on a phone or laptop several times gets old really quickly and doesn't provide enough detail, I initially started to install the brackets backwards because I couldn't see what the tech in the video was doing clearly. $130 for 4 pieces of plastic and what amounts to probably less than $10 worth of hardware seem a bit much, but cheaper than Rally Armour of Subaru OEM. The good is that they look good installed, and if they save my paint from the ravages of the poorly maintained streets where I live, they'll be more than worth the price and aggravation. Last word? Include written instructions people...works for Ikea and I've never made a mistake putting their stuff together because of it.

They are exact fit
There was a point fitting the fronts. there is a clip and a L bracket you have to put on the car. OMG when I saw what I had to do to put it. and when I tried putting the clip flush with the whole. I was almost going to just stop what I was doing and return it to get the Armor ones. I can see why these are 70 bucks cheaper. it not the quality because be honest these are much better then the 170 . if you actually can install them. they are the most exact fit I can think.People that install them into the wrx know what I mean. It the front mudgards and it that bottom clip that hold the L bracket. OMG. either I got super lucky and I got it in the hole. but trying to explain this. There is a clip that clips the metal and the frame and outside frame. so this clip goes through 4 wholes needed to exactly flush. then you suppose to put this clip in a whole that you will think it dosent fit. BUT IT DOES>. It just seem at first like who the hell is suppose to be able to install this. and then once I got the first one. the other one fell suite. the back ones where the easiest. other then you need to take off the wheel. and make sure you put the wheel same way because the balance will be messed up if not. wrx have locker bolts and things painted on the hub and wheel to put them the way they came off. Great flaps, much better than the competitions, a bit of a pain to install properly
These look fantastic, are extremely thick and durable, and add a sleek functionality to your vehicle. I put these onto my 2021 Subaru WRX. So your results may differ if you have a different vehicle. The mounting hardware that comes with them work, but on a few spots they were not flush due to the brackets being too thick, or improperly machined. I bent or filed them down when necessary but I shouldn't have to be doing that, QC could probably be better. You will need to remove your rear wheels to properly mount these. Also I highly suggest following the instructions they provide exactly. The flaps will become loose over time, so check your hardware every month or so.

Every bit as good if not better than the RA brand.
This review is for the Shortz, although I’m sure the standard size would garner the same review. I installed these on a 2019 WRX, which is not lowered. The Shortz are made for a lowered car but I purchased them for the styling. I didn’t want mudflaps that large, so that’s why I chose these. I went with the black on black. I also don’t like flashy logos or race car decals all over my car like a 2 year old. The all black flap looks great on my black car. The flaps seem very durable and they are a stiffer material as compared to the rally armor that flap around in the wind. Install was easy and straightforward. The only thing I did was get 2 extra stainless fender washers, the same size that are provided in the kit, to replace the little tiny washers that are used on the fronts with the angle bracket. The washers they gave for this are were far too small and don’t cover the hole. As a matter of fact, they are so small, part of the washer goes into the hole. Not very good support for the screw, in my opinion. You’ll know what I’m talking about if you purchase a set and install them. They are also made in the USA and cost almost half as much. Get these if you’re considering rally flaps for your WRX.

They came with a roll of freakin Rockets (Smarties in the US)
Excellent, had [a competing brand] on another car years ago, prefer these, much stiffer. The round plastic clips for the back were a royal pain in the ass, had to take the rear wheels off just to hammer them into the holes. If it wasn't for the free candy in the package I'd be rating 4 stars just for that.TO THOSE SAYING THEY DONT FIT CERTAIN YEARS: you're doing something wrong because 2015-2021 saw no changes aside from the front fascia
