Good as winter gloves, not good as mechanical gloves.
These gloves are very well manufactured. They are very warm. Should do well as winter or skiing gloves. However, the thickness made it not function as well to be mechanical gloves.I would get something thinner to use a mechanical gloves.

Waterproof and warm but runs very small
The right thumb was sewn shut, and In spite of the fact that these are way undersized, I give it a 4. this is definitely waterproof ; with the thinsulate lining and thick outer layer I expect it to be toasty even in cold wet conditions.Normally I wear a large size glove but an xl in this glove is too small. Hopefully the 2xl will work better. Glad I don't have hands like king donald.

Gloves are warm and waterproof
First off the gloves are waterproof. The sizes says XL but than run small. The liner sometimes comes out of the fingers but it does go back in place with some manipulation. Gloves are also warm and than did keep my hands dry. I manage a duck hunting lodge and I put them to the test today. Picking up duck decoys in the water and it was 45 degrees. All good just wish they were larger

Not worth the money
Not what we expected. These are bulky and FAR from waterproof. Son works at a car wash, he needed WATERPROOF gloves, his has got wet within the first 15 min of wearing because water seeps between the seams. Took a long time to get also, so wasted time and money for my son :(

good and bad
The good: the gloves have a water barrier that seems to keep the water from getting to your hands. The bad: they are definitely on the small side; I ordered extra large for my small but thick hands; if my fingers are at all damp or wet, they stick to the interior fabric, which is a fleece and not tightly attached to the rest of the glove. Also, the outside fabric of the glove has no water resistance, so that fabric will absorb water. I sprayed the outside with waterproofing spray, which helps. So they are usable, but were very hard for me to get on this morning in the rain: my little finger got stuck and wouldn't go into the glove finger.
