OMG AMAZING!!! Worth every penny
I can't stop eating these things. I'm afraid I'm going to die of salt poisoning (bag says no sodium oddly enough, so not sure what to make of that) seriously though if you like super hard super salty delectable licorice morcills sent from the heavens BUY THESE! The key is to chew them with ur back teeth slowly into a flattened coin shape then suck on them and u get this amazing sweet salty taste. Fair warning though, this is an aquired taste. I'm pretty sure you love them or you hate them. To the true salt licorice fan though, you can't go wrong here. Buy in bulk, it's worth it!....I'm totally eating one right now. Oh and bonus, they have like nothing in them, I swear I have lost 10 pounds since I got these (I have been eating them instead of snacks, probably not healthy but hey they are F'ING awesome) I think it's about 100calories and 17g sugar a serving, that's it! Nothing else , and a serving is a lot 3 per bag I think. These are def one at a time candies so it really drags out the enjoyment, way better than eating a whole carton of milk duds in one sitting (guilty lol). Anyway if I havnt made it clear enough yet, you should buy these. Mad props guys! Keep up the good work!

Salt, ammonia and certain death! (not)
Be advised, these are essentially pure death in miniature black puck form. The glycyrrhizin powerfully depletes your potassium, possibly leading to heart failure, seizures, and death. As if that weren't enough, these taste strongly of ammonia, like window cleaner or smelling salts, as they contain ammonium chloride. And speaking of salts, they are quite salty tasting. Not much sugar though. Certainly not enough to kill from that alone, unlike many American sweets...If you're terminally bored, terminally depressed, or simply wish to be terminated, do what I did and buy a giant box of these. I'll update if I survive the year. If not, two thumbs up from six feet down! If I don't post again, these have done the trick!Update: I have survived the entire box. I've moved on to K&H. By comparison, the Gustaf's are more intensely ammoniac, a bit less sweet, harder, and generally a bit more hardcore. Not for the faint of heart, literally, as they can cause arrhythmias...

Really Salty
They take awhile to get use to, as they are very salty. But it states double salt. I only ordered these because they would no longer send the coins to me and they doubled the price, so I wouldn't be ordering them anyway. If you like salty licorice..these are great!

Very disappointed
Being from the Netherlands I ordered a box of these bags. I love the taste but I HATE the fact that there are artificial colors in it. WHY??? It doesn’t show in the picture but it shows up on the ingredients list on the bag. So now they’ll go in the trash, I’ll never buy this brand again. In 2 weeks I’ll be in Holland and figure out what licorice to buy without poisoning myself.Very disappointed!!!

Execellent High Quality Authentic Dutch DOUBLE salt Licorice
This is real Dutch DOUBLE SALT licorice.... If you do not like salty candy.... DONT order it. This is authenticand exactly like you will find in Holland. If you like panda, twizzler etc American sweet molasses and anise (licorice)flavored candy this is not for you... this has been a treat in Holland for over a hundred years and this is a high quality very goodauthentic DUTCH Salt licorice.

it is what it is
i've been happily eating Gustaf's "hint of salt" licorice coins for decades, having to buy from amazon since leaving a real city with real sweets store. i wanted to try slightly more flavor and made the mistake of thinking these would have double the salt of those NOPE, more like 10x the salt of hint of salt. first, they're not coins, not firm, and have almost no sweet licorice flavor (my bad choice). 230mg of sodium per serving is not for the faint of heart and after a few days i failed to eat more than a couple. anyone want 11 unopened bags, lol
