Great little Bluetooth phone connector
Works great on my 1989 Toyota pickup, easy to setup, music playback works great, no static, and great value for money, don't know about charging speed since I haven't had to charge my phone with it.

Not perfect, but impressive for the price!
I'll have to update this as time goes on. Out of the box, I had it set up in less than five minutes. I was on the way to work so I didn't take the time to find a truly clear station (my truck's station tuner skips over dead stations so the station I selected had static and hints of sound) but even so the sound quality surprised me - it's pretty damn good and the background noise was only audible between songs. Once I figure out how to actually tune to a truly empty frequency, I imagine it'll be even better. Haven't bothered yet because surprisingly, it's good enough.[Update: I used radio-locator.com to find a vacant station that had minimal interference over most of town, tuned the transmitter to that station, then tuned my truck to that as well. Once the transmitter was broadcasting, my truck could connect easily instead of skipping over the empty channel and the sound quality is indeed much better. I do not hear any distortion whatsoever, and I live in a fairly large city. Some reviewers seem to get distortion no matter what they do, so I wanted to mention that my antenna is located on the front passenger side of the vehicle, which is relatively close to the transmitter compared to vehicles with the antenna on the back. I don't know if that would affect the sound quality, but it's the only factor I can think of.]Phone calls work as well and are easy to answer. I'll have to test the microphone quality more and get feedback from people when they call, but it works.Very small form factor. I measured and checked the dimensions before I ordered, but I still was not sure if it was going to fit where my port is because it's tucked into a recessed compartment with a sliding cover. But it does - just barely. If it were any bigger, it would not. Very small and unobtrusive. I'm pleased that it fits as I was not interested in it gooseneck model and most of the others I looked at had larger dimensions than this one.I noticed that the display didn't turn off when I shut off the truck, so I waited 10 minutes and came back out to check. Apparently my 12v port and cigarette lighter must run even with the truck shut off, so I'll have to unplug it after every trip. I suspect that would be a problem with any equivalent device, however - if it runs on 12v and the port never shuts off, there's no way it would know the car is off. Just be careful and check whether your port operates constantly or only when the vehicle is running before you leave it plugged in over the weekend.

Works well!
Works well for price! Audio may not be as good as if you had Bluetooth come with the car, but for it being Bluetooth connecting to your phone then to a radio station then to the car—it’s good! So happy to have a hands free call and music player in my car now. It’s easy to use/set up, has good playback, and pretty clear clarity. Would recommend for those who don’t have Bluetooth cars!

NEVER DIES
Bought this about 3 years ago. I’m only looking for a new one now because I got a new phone that needs a usb c port BUT I’ve literally never had an issue with this transmitter. I’ve pulled the outside off from just ripping it out of my cigarette lighter too aggressively, but that thing popped right back into place and never stopped working. Music plays perfectly, connects instantly when I turn my car on, easy to use, cheap but quality. Just terrific.

It works
I like that this is very small, it’s not much bigger than a regular usb plug adapter. I didn’t bother to read the instructions but it was very simple to set up. I plugged it in, found it with my phones Bluetooth and tuned my radio to the station it came pre-set with (88.8). Works perfectly and sounds pretty good. I can’t turn it up too low without it getting fuzzy, but I still think it’s pretty good for the price. It connects automatically to my phone whenever I start the car without needing to do anything. It has buttons to skip or repeat songs and one to answer calls. Also 2 usb ports for charging are a nice addition.

Streaming works well
This is a nifty gadget for streaming your music. Connectivity is seamless, just plug it in and go. No issues with streaming although the sound quality is somewhat distorted and muffled and not as good as I would have liked (at least for my radio > Chrysler Mygig) but it gets the job done. The unit works well for calls, albeit the volume is a bit low when talking. Overall, it works decently for my intended purpose and was reasonably priced.

Great for Older Vehicles
I have used this on a couple of trips now, and it has worked well. However, if you live in a region that has many FM radio stations you may have issues finding an empty radio frequency to set it to. Once you have set it to a clear FM radio frequency, you then tune the car radio to the same frequency. I suggest that you set one of the presets to the frequency that the adapter is set for. Then you pair your phone to the adapter, which is fairly straight forward. Once set and plugged into the vehicle's 12 volt accessory port, it will automatically connect and will play anything your phone sends through the radio. The USB charger works well and is enough to keep a modern phone charged, even when using Waze.I find the audio quality to be quite good, good enough for on the road use. I recommend this type over the ones that play through your car's cassette player.Another nicety is when it is first turned on it will display the vehicle battery voltage. This can alert you to issues with your vehicle battery or electrical system. After a few seconds the display shows the frequency it is transmitting on.
