This was purchased to supplement our existing aircon unit, incase it broke down and to help my breathing (asthmatic and heat and humidity unhelpful), and to help one of our older dogs cope with the heat. Due to the weird layout of our elderly home it was put in the kitchen to try and encourage a cool airflow throughout. For it's size it is fantastic! Enable's my breathing to regulate within a couple of minutes and also enable's me to cook or wash up without struggling to breathe. I can't comment on it's drainage system as not tried it. We were lucky enough to be able to tweek a kitchen counter and put the hose through a window, without using the window fixture that's supplied. Can't fault it oh except if you get one the vanes do move for up and down and side direction - the up down is second vane down on the right with raised bits for thumb and finger adjustment - the side to side is top left with thumb and finger movement.

Lovely machine. Slightly smaller than anything else I could find for the price. Fits on my window sill. 24 degrees c drops to about 18 in 3 hours but drops 2 degrees in the first hour no matter the temperature. Quite pokey will cool a big bedroom but use your noggen it’s 3000 btus. It’s also slightly quieter than your average machine. Does cost a lot to run. Approx 8p an hour on low mode and 14 p on higher speed mode. I hope this helps with making a purchase.

Ok so I would like to leave 1 star but that's probably not fair. The description is not misleading but seems to be a blatant fabrication. Yes it does blow cold air out but you must use the vent hose at all times and even then you will not get even close to 20°c for even a small room. It says no need to empty water as it is evaporative...I have a soaking wet carpet that would disagree. Only wanted to cool down a small bedroom...tried on the smallest room in the house without vent hose and temperature went up to 37°c. We took a gamble at the low BTU and price and now we know better. If you can handle the surprisingly loud noise and only need a slight drop in temperature in a small room then maybe give it a go but I would not recommend. As a dehumidifier it may be ok as it seemed to like collecting water from what we thought was a dry room. It's compact but I question the description...it's just not true what you are being told sadly. Cool comes at a price. Noise....essential venting of hot air from unit outside and water collection/disposal. Don't start at the low end of you need cool rooms. Start in the middle of price, BTU and check other descriptions of same model on other sites to be safe. Message to Amazon. How is it people can tell such blatant misinformation about products on such a reputable global business site? To conclude...nice idea but awful execution. Just awful.

It's okay. It blows cold air cool, but the flaps broke on them and I have had to use tape to hold them open and it's kinda loud. I use it next to my bed as honestly it does not cool my small bedroom (I have barely enough room for a bed in here) and the window isn't sun facing so it's kind of an idea room but it didn't cool it. It cools me at night which is good. The lights on top (the temp light and things) are so freaking bright with no way to turn them down/off during use. Also why are the wheels not removable or lockable? Over all it's meh. For the price of it, it's okay. But if I was you I'd try to buy a better one than this

I find this air-conditioner very inconsistent one time I use it it’s perfect calls down my room just right but then another time I use it it just isn’t the same. I’ve checked everything over all my settings check the filters and nothing seems to change. This is very frustrating if anyone can help let me know if not, no good.
