Compumatic XLS Bio Finger Reader with Computime 101 Software

I purchased this time clock for my staff to use. At first glance it appears to be a good product. And then when you have your first issue, you realize that the tech support is horrible. You call an answering service who then refers your call to a person devoid of personality to field your issue. I have had this product for less than six months and the fingerprint screen has had two issues. The first was that it kept clouding up. I was informed that my staff couldn't have anything at all on their fingers (soap, lotion, grease etc.). This is for a janitorial staff, good luck with that! They replaced the screen in a rather short period of time. Which was a plus, but then a short time later it appeared to bubble. When I investigated further the bubbling wasn't bubbling at all but rather the cheap rubber used for the fingerprint scanner was falling apart. At only the six month mark. The only saving grace is that you can allow employees to punch in using a number and password that you give them. Do yourself a favor and buy another product and definitely from another company.

We have full palm readers at a couple of our sites and they work very well. On an office we just opened, we decided to give this finger print reader a shot and it came w/ the same software of our palm readers. Everyone who uses the software says it is easy to use. I believe you need an electrical outlet but I am not sure.

These are so easy to put up and so nice to have for our company. Makes payroll much easier!
