Meeting expectations and then some.
So far, doing excellent. Had one leaf damaged by pest but was removed before it did too much damage. Plant is strong and healthy. Growing well.

great seller, good packaging, healthy plant.
arrived alive and healthy. size as described. great care directions. carefully packed. transplanted safely and took root. still healthy almost 6 months later. better than the majority of online nursery shipments. A+ seller. The piper nigrum (black pepper vine) seems to be a slow grower and I don’t know how well it will overwinter in the house, but this seller got us off to a good start.

Plant not thriving.
Plant arrived in good shape. But did not thrive. Never grew taller or put out any additional leaves. Leaves turned black and fell off. Did everything possible to help plant thrive but this has me baffled. I live in south FL zone 10. Plenty of sunshine and bring it inside if Temps get below 70. This is a tough plant to grow.

Dont give up on a good plant.
I purchased two of these and truthfully, Im still so very nervous. I mixed up some miracle grow just for these and then added a lot of sulfer, to overcome the effects of the peat moss, along with some other ingredients, to prep them for the day they arrived. When they showed up, they were very healthy and green. They were two different sizes but was still appropriate. I allowed them to set on my dining table and recoup from the trip for a couple of days, soakimg up some indirect light from the nearby window and then I transplanted them. For about two weeks they looked well and then one leaf started suddenly loosing all its leaves. I immediately isolated the other, using a very large glass vase as a biodome to help retain a humid environment inside and occasionally lifting it for some fresh carbon dioxide. However, even though the other plant has lost every leaf, I didnt at all give up on it. Instead, I kept taking care of it, watering it, letting it get fresh air and so on. It took a while but in just the last week, it started growing leaves again so dont give up on them if the leaves fall off. The reason Im nervous is because they are growing at a extremely slow rate and Im not entirely certain that at their small size if they should be growing faster or not. But I keep monitoring the pH, the moisture levels and how much sun it gets and try to keep the growth going. So far, as much as that made me nervous, I still greatly enjoy my purchase. So far, this seller has provided very good and healthy plants from all the different purchases Ive made from them. I look forward to my next 'big' purchase, the most. 🍌

Great plant
Once is took root it was growing great, very happy with it, beautiful distinct leaves, strong stems, it’s a slow grower but that’s solely genetics and has nothing to do with the company. I’ve bought multiple things from this seller and have been pleased every time. However the winter I didn’t get my vine inside soon enough and it frosted over and now is gone so I’ll be ordering a new one soon here hopefully. It’s death was entirely my fault and if grown inside it will live forever no problems.

just a graft with poor roots
Plant died. When i checked the roots, it was just a grafting that didn't root well. it stayed alive for a month or 2 but then rotted away.

Very nice looking Black Pepper Vine start!
This arrived in perfect condition! The little plant was very lively and seemed ready to grow like crazy. I watered it some and gave it a tiny bit of my organic liquid fertilizer, at 1/4 strength. I'm sure it's going to grow like mad and I'll be having my own fresh peppercorns in no time! An awesome vendor who sells quality, quality, quality. Never be worried about your order here, they will treat you and the plants right!
