Quality Tool
Works well for my sheet metal bending projects. Easy to use and make your bends accurately. Plus it being a Crescent tool you know it’s made to last.

Nice small metal bender
Bought this to bend panels for a hidden fastener roof and this is my first time using a tool like this. I have used a 10 foot brake but this is easier and quicker for smaller lengths. It I limited to 1/4 inch up to 1 inch bend which met my needs. I’ve bent at least 30 pieces and it has worked flawlessly. I would buy again but I don’t think I’ll need to. It will last for what I need.

It doesn't replace a break, good quality, good company
It's good for small pieces, with 1" or 3/8" bends. I do use it a bit custom jobs. In retrospect I should have got the 18" size. 24" pieces are many times hard to handle and need clamps. It suits my needs.

Great Tool, Great Price!
Best single use tool for the money. I had no experience working with sheet metal and needed to create an 18" x 20" cap to protect a sheet of wood from the elements. After researching tools and techniques for bending sheet metal, I was pretty discouraged, thinking I'd end up with edges that looked terrible from trying to hammer out a bend. Then I found this tool on Amazon and realized I could get it in 12". Once the sheet metal was cut to size, I was able to make straight 1" bends on all 4 sides within 5 minutes. I ran into some trouble on the first side because I bent one section of the run too far and had some difficulty sliding the tool down to complete the remaining half of the side. On the remaining sides, I made a partial bend and then slide the tool down to the other half of the side. A couple back and forth bends and the side was done!

Does what it says
I used this on 24ga steel sheet. It worked well and did not seem to be stressed. Simple tool that did a nice job.

Injured me and made me flip out
This product worked fine for the first bend. The second bend it split in two, causing me to get a nice little laceration on my hand. So I bolted it back together using some 1/4” hardware and went back to bending some roofing metal. Then it slipped out of place as the structural integrity of the bender had been compromised, causing me to be injured again but worse in the same spot as well as ruining a piece of my materials. Have you ever been lacerated in a fresh laceration? Lemme tell ya, it feels tremendously phenomenal. So, between a reinjured injury and a ruined piece of expensive material, as well as working long hours, a 3 hour daily commute and a sometimes tedious second job, I lost it. I threw the bender about 40 yards across my property and then smacked it a couple times with a hammer to show the inanimate object who’s boss around here.My family wasn’t impressed with my behavior just as I am not impressed with this item. A loss all around.
