進撃の巨人 - ファイナルシーズン - THE FINAL CHAPTERS (パート3)

DVDは見れたけどブルーレイは何をしても設定を変えても起動せずに終わった。字幕も消せない、損をしたような気分になった｡内容は良かっただけに残念

I started watching AOT in June of 2019 and have watched each season as they were released on Blu-ray and prices came down, so I am finally finishing it in November of 2025. First off after the end of season 4 I was concerned about the ending but it did manage to be a decent ending that was able to make some of what made me not like season 4 make more sense. It was a really good journey and despite taking a dip at the end is one of the best anime overall out there. Season 1 to me was good but wasn’t anything that special to me, but season 2 was great followed by a season 3 that was also great and had a lot of crazy twists after which I went back and rewatched season 1 and 2, and had a much higher appreciation for them seeing how things that didn’t seem important were actually thoughtfully done and subtle moments were actually purposefully done. Then I watched season 4 and was disappointed by a number of things that I talked about in my reviews of those, but I ended that season wondering if they could really resolve the series in a satisfactory way that didn’t ruin what was such an incredible series for the most part. I still think season 4 should have been handled better but I was pleasantly surprised that I was satisfied with the ending. I’m reminded a little of the show Lost, it started good, got amazing, started getting complex but still good, then got ridiculous and stupid with more questions that either get answered in a stupid way or don’t get answered, but I never finished Lost unlike AOT so I don’t know how it ended.

Greatest anime of all time comes to a great ending!

Due stelle per l'edizione, non per l'anime. Intanto è l'unica disponibile. In totale ci sono quattro dischi, due bluray e due DVD, con gli stessi contenuti. Non si capisce quale sia il senso. Chi ha un lettore bluray vede quelli. Chi ha solo un lettore dvd... (Chi ha solo un lettore dvd nel 2026? Se non si è aggiornato sul formati fisici da 15+ anni, perché non vede in streaming?). Sta di fatto che troppi dischi in una confezione standard spessa 14mm stanno stretti, ed infatti appena aperta la confezione erano tutti staccati dai supporti interni, sbattendo qua e la durante il trasporto. La durata totale è di 146 minuti, ben al di sotto dei 240 minuti massimi per un BD a doppio strato; tuttavia l'anime è diviso in due parti in due dischi separati (con molti pochi contenuti speciali). Chi vuole vederselo tutto deve per forza cambiare disco, manco fosse LOTR versione estesa. Analizzando il primo disco risultano due file video quasi identici da 17 GB, uno con la doppia traccia audio e uno solo in inglese, boh. Riassumendo, la confezione contiene quattro dischi, ne bastava ed avanzava uno solo. Per carità, i disegni sui dischi sono anche carini, ma non mi pare valesse la pena. 56€ sono di gran lunga troppi, sono 146 minuti, non una stagione intera. Pro: contiene effettivamente l'ultima parte di Attack on Titan in formato e qualità bluray.
