Feeling secure.
So easy to flip the latch over with the knowledge the door is secure. Fitting was incredibly easy.

Better than a chain latch.
Bought it as a cheap security fix for my rental apartment. The other option was to buy a chain latch, but I had heard stories of unscrupulous people cutting through the chain with pliers, so opted for this version instead. It's a little easier to use than the chain version. Slamming it shut when I close the door, has become almost a reflex action. I've mostly had a chain latch in my previous apartments but latching it takes a wee bit more effort and as a result I would not bother to do it most of the time. This latch has a slight coppery tone which matches my door handles. Overall it has been a decent buy and I would recommend it over a chain latch.

Going strong for about a decade!
I am using it since 2015 on my front door. Despite opening the door several times, accidentally while it is latched, it has held up! No wear and tear or change in appearance.

Absolutely useful! I will say this is a must have in all households. The thing about this is that the latch CANNOT be opened from the outside under any circumstances, giving you that all-important barrier when opening the door. The installation is super easy although I got my carpenter to drive the nails. A tip: To secure both sides to the door frame and door better, user longer nails than the ones that come with the product. A great looker with its matt finished chrome colour. Very reasonably priced too.

Strong door gaurd and better than the chain gaurd.. ... Cannot be opened at all from the outside by strangers........ Sturdy and nice glossy finish..... Could have been a bit more in length but something is better than nothing at the moment.....

Excellent product. Serves the purpose.
Good product. Nice and sturdy . As one of the person in review suggested to use little longer nails than the one provided in the box helped. Problems it is difficult to get the antique color coated nails. Hence managed with normal nails.even it is expensive. May be it is worth it
