They Work!
I just want to say that these bags do the job when it comes to keeping your potatoes and onions fresh! I've used mine for months now and they definitely work. I've never had potatoes or onions spoil inside these bags. As for the potato bag, it's true you cannot get 10 pounds of potatoes into the bag. I definitely recommend them!

Cute and Durable
So far so good. I use them as they were designed. I like knowing how to identify and store my spuds and onions.

Great idea
These produce bags were low cost and seem to be what we need to store our potatoes and onions in our closet, out of the way... and keep them from sprouting or spoiling. They seem fine now, but have not had them for very long.

WOULD BUY AGAIN....
These are super nice. Well made and they have the black liner. Not thin at all. When I first saw thw size I figured there was no way 10 pounds of potoes would fit. I have a 5 pound of restaurant potatoes and and 3 pound of sweet pototoes and they were not small.I got all 8 pounds in the bag as you can see from the picture. So 10 pounds of regular pototoes would fit with no problemI highly recommend them. Getting a set for my mom

The bags are smaller than described
I’ve not had the bags long enough to know if it works as advertised in keeping light out and potatoes and onions fresher longer. What I do know is the 2 bags were smaller than what was shown on the diagram and the dimensions in the product description. There is a black liner in the bag but it is not complete blackout since I can still see light coming through the material. I assume that it will keep most of the light out of the bag. Disappointed that the bags were smaller than advertised but hoping that it does what it’s supposed to since I gave up the hanging feature of my current bags for these new ones.

Nice clean way to store potatoes and onions...
I think the way you use these will definitely affect your perception of how "good" they are. I was looking for something to keep my potatoes and onions "fresher" and more handy than a plastic bag from the grocery. I really hate throwing spuds in the back of a cabinet or drawer and then discovering one or more when the smell alerts you to the problem. The other "real" issue for me was not only sprouting, but potatoes that turn green. For those who care, potatoes turn green when exposed to light. This can occur when they are still in the ground or after being marketed and you have them at home. This is important (to me anyway...) because green potatoes are somewhat poisonous. That is to say that a potato that is turning green indicates the presence of solanine which is a systemic poison. If you doubt what I say... look it up. These bags because of their dark interior form a sort of "blackout" condition inside the bag. This will keep the formation of solanine to a minimum as long as the potatoes are not already green when they go into the bag.So, how do the bags work.?? Well, pretty good. I am certainly happy with my results. I have noticed NO green potatoes since I started using these bags about two months ago. Sprouting seems to be reduced too, although potatoes will still sprout in the dark, just like they do in the ground. Potatoes need to be kept cool, dry, and dark. These bags will certainly help with that process. In addition, the bags are quite attractive and do not offend me when seen laying about on the counter or an open shelf or a hanging basket. The bag for onions seems to work well too. Truthfully, if you allow any root vegetable to lay around for weeks at a time, the chances are there will be some spoilage. These bags won't keep me from being stupid, but they do offer a clean and light free way to store my spuds and onions. I am very pleased.Five stars for a good storage bag that seems to function as designed. Perfect..?? No, but then nothing ever is...

Don't buy!! They don't keep potatoes or onions fresh.
Terrible. Put new potatoes and they all started to rotten within less then a week. Not worth the money. Onions started sprouting also. Had the throw the bags away. Don't buy !!!
