I drilled the hole wider and now my needle has clearance. However, I am not sure if the foot is really time saving. I have issues with the beginning and end of the material. I did a few napkins and it looks all right. But it takes time lacing in the material into the foot. The foot itself is well made. I have to practice some more. The sturdy foot can be used without the attachment. The order came with three sizes.
