Works as advertised but not made in japan
The product has made in japan written in bold screen print over it, but a quick look at the battery holder, soldering, make etc leaves no doubt that it is a chinese product only.Tested various stones and it readily detects diamonds if the sensitivity is adjusted properly.Good buy for the price if one can ignore made in japan tag.

Received used and Defective product - I dont recommend buying this product
I've received an used and device product and its also not working. This device is looking cheap as well. Pathetic experience. I am not sure how AMAZON is encouraging this kind of sellers.
