It took me all of 5 min from the time of opening the box, til the time I put it together and placed it next to my couch. While my 15 month old and 4 year old were running at my feet. Easy peezy. The instructions are very straight forward but this was so easy, it could have come without any. I purchased the antique white which is not yellow like the picture depicts. It's very ivory and very beautiful. I wouldn't put an aquarium on it, but it is structurly sound enough that its not going to wobble nor break with regular use. DUH, you just screw off the bottom parts of the legs; screws are already attached to the legs which go in the top part of the table (I guess that is what confused me). It's very sturdy, no tools required, just righty twisting.
