Great ergonomic bar for active mountain bikers
Standard mountain bike handlebars have about a 5-degree backsweep. If you doing longer rides, however, you may find that your wrists hurt. Going to a full-on comfort/beach cruiser/"mustache" style 45-degree handlebar sweep may not be the right thing to do. Besides not looking the part of a true mountain bike, you'll not have the control you want if you're banging fast on some downhills.These bars were the perfect setup for me. 16 degrees of backsweep helps my wrists, and doesn't make me look like I should be pedaling on the boardwalk with a basket instead. I got the carbon fiber construction since I find they transmit less vibration than aluminum bars (heck, they make tuning forks out of aluminum because they vibrate so much!).

Perfect angle for me
These are the perfect angle for me and have almost completely reaolved my hand issues when combined with my Ergon grips. I upgraded to these after trying the alloy version first.
