Syrup of Liquorice Root - 200 ml

Tastes fantastic. I can't wait to make some goodies with this.

Bottle came bubble wrapped( ok,fine), besides the scotch tape around side of cap not touching bottle ( that I unscrewed intact-without removing tape) liquid was not sealed underneath. Also it is VERY thin- I could dissove a hard licorice candy in water to get thie watery thin 'syrop' ( and it'd be safer) For the price- should've come in glass bottle but nope, plastic- not great for storing unless you're prof. baker. I don't trust this isn't adulterated and it can't be legal to sell this in US without safeguards of purity.

I purchased this so a baker friend could make me lovely licorice and marzipan cakes. They turned out PERFECT! It added the distinct and lovely taste of licorice, without too much sweetness and balanced with the other ingredients. I fear I may need a much bigger bottle but I'm happy to purchase more in the future!

fantastic flavour

Schmeckt nicht sehr nach Lakritze, sondern hat mehr einen eigenartigen mintigen leicht beißenden Zuckersirupgeschmack, wird von mir nie wieder bestellt

Will be using it to make liquorice ice cream very soon
