Dreambaby 24.5 in. White Chelsea Extra Tall Extension

This piece was kind of a pain. You have to screw a couple screws in to give it some support, and the directions say to use mounting cups on the wall with the pressure mounting pieces. That kind of defeats the whole purpose of having a gate without hardware. I however, ignored the instructions and had to install the gate without the mounting cups. It wouldn't have fit otherwise. I would try to use smaller pieces to extend this gate if possible.

One of the things having a little one is trying to keep them contained. Dreambaby is one of the few that has tall gates that prevent pets from jumping over (unless you have super ambitious cats), and keeps the little one safe in one area. However, you often need to configure the gate to the width. This extension is nice for extra wide areas that go between living spaces like the living room and dining room.This has a reinforcement bar due to the width. That's a nice feature on an extension. Comes with pins too.

The initial attachment I ordered got slightly bent during shipping, but I was not clear if it affected whether it fitted, or if something changed in the model between the two years that I bought the original portion. Customer service was very quick and efficient and welcomed my sending pictures. Even though the pictures were too big for them to accept, it was good to work with such a responsive staff member. It turned out that the slight dent effected the fit, so I was able to return it at no cost for shipping. The replacement one worked like a charm.
