I purchased this grinder specifically for espresso. The MiiCoffee GF64 has performed wonderfully. Retention has been varying from 0.2 to 0 grams, depending on the beans. I do use the bellows and it helps with retention. The grinder has good weight and is very stable. My only gripe is that it won't allow the use of a Breville 54mm portafilter (only fits 58mm portafilters). I plan on finding an adapter so I can grind directly into my portafilterfor other . It was surprisingly easy to dial in my first time using the grinder. I'm grinding fresh beans on setting #5 so this might be a good starting point. I haven't taken it apart yet but there is a good video on youtube that shows how you remove the 3 screw covers to remove the ring. It's a little more involved than other grinders but that's not a deal breaker at all. I plan on calibrating the burrs soon and I'll amend the review on how that went. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. Would I have rather had an aluminum or stainless steel body? Sure, but all that's going to do is increase the price. This is very well made and quiet. My wife sleeps in every morning and my grinding beans doesn't bother her at all.

Had to return after two months. Grinds quickly became very inconsistent. I tested this against my old grinder (Baratza Encore) and the consistency just didn't compare. The grinder was also very light and didn't feel like the most solid construction.

This grinder is fantastic! Just a heads-up: the portafilter holder is 58mm, so it wonโt fit the 54mm portafilters found in most Breville models (except for the higher-end Oracle series and dual boiler models, which do have a 58mm).

Grinder great pretty consistent so far. My only issue is the manual grind buttons sensitivity. Sometimes it dosent want to stop when I hit the button causing excessive coffee to grind. I wish it was a little more sensitive or had a push button to hold and release when done. It takes around 13-13.3 seconds to grind 18gs with my current bean.
