1. No Piano Part2. No Accompanying CD(just wanted to clear up a review earlier that said it did, when in fact it does not)These Cello pieces are ok. Easy to read. Some pieces are more recognizable than others. I bought this for my cello students, but honestly, these pieces are not performance worthy. Ok for maybe a lesson or two. Maybe for sight reading.Something good i saw was that it has chords written above the measure. Like on top of mm2 it says Em, and above mm3 it says B7. You can strum these chords on a guitar or piano for intonation. If you have a classical guitar player who can play by ear, they may also be able to come up with something nice sounding out of those chords to accompany if needed.

Only a few arrangements in this book that I really liked. I could play them, they just don't sound that great. With all honesty, it might be because I've only been playing a year.

A book of easy to play pieces for the young and developing cellist with works containing first position and extensions.

Great set of solos with accompanying CD that has play along cello or just the piano accompanying you as you play. A lot of fun!

The content in the book is great, but the print quality is very poor. The pages start to fade as if the ink ran out from the publisher. I ended up returning the item in exchange for another copy. Hopefully the new book is better quality.Update: the replacement book is perfect. Just had a bad copy the first time.

The selections are a little too easy. If you are a REAL BEGINNER they would be OK.
