VIAIR 90145 RV Winterization Kit

This kit works great, though in my honest opinion it is pretty expensive, and in my view, should have been included in the compressor. That said, it was easy to assemble and use this winterization kit. I was able to winterize my Class A motorhome in less than 30 minutes.

This kit adds a needed dimension to my Viair compressor which is an essential tool while towing/traveling with my camper. For the price of the compressor one would think this would have been included.

I was using my garage compressor with integrated regulator before. I have had some concern about the pressure drifting during operation. This setup takes care of any uncertainty. I can monitor the actual pressure at the inlet to the RV since the regular part is light weight so it can be directly attached to the inlet on the RV.

If you winterize your RV then these should be in your toolbox. Makes projects a snap and very well made.

While we spend the winters in the south we normally don't worry about winterizing our trailer. I bought this just in case winterizing HAS to be done. Well made and the regulator insures you don't blow the water lines.

The regulator did not regulate. What ever air pressure went in came right back out the other side no matter how the adjustment knob was set. Probably poor quality control at the factory. Not good when you are trying to winterize your RV. I incorrectly wrote earlier that the body was plastic which was incorrect. It is a metal body but that doesn't change the fact that it didn't regulate.

Yes this expensive, but it appears to be of higher quality than buying parts at your local hardware store. Paired with a ViAir compressor, you have everything you need to blow out your air lines for winterization.
