The Bible Timeline Chart : Jeff Cavins, Sarah Christmyer: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: This chart originated on the EWTN TV series, "Our Father's Plan", with Scott Hahn and Jeff Cavins. There it took up a whole wall. That also title links to a book by Scott Hahn and a video Bible Study by Jeff Cavins called "The Great Adventure". These are not exactly all the same programs or books, but as relates to this Timeline chart, they all refer to it. To make matters more confusing, there is a book called "Walking With God" which says "The Great Adventure" in tiny letters on the back (and which I highly recommend). This book follows the narrative of salvation history through the Bible, and can be used with or without a Bible. There s an old hardback edition of it, and a new paperback one which has study questions added for group or individual use. By now the need for a smaller timeline chart has likely become clear, and this is it. It's a helpful supplement to all the books and videos mentioned. This is a color chart which folds up and opens to 38 inches long, printed on both sides. The inside flap has arrows which can be followed throughout the chart with a color key to each part of it. One could use this chart with a Bible alone, but it is also keyed to "Walking With God" and the various books and videos mentioned, enabling one to unfold the Great Adventure of salvation history. Review: My friend recommended it to me and also for me to deepen my faith.

This helps understanding the flow of events in the bible. It is particularly useful for placing the major and minor prophets books in the correct timeperiod. I refer to it often and shared copies with my bible study group.

I'm a big fan of this product. Although, there are many free ways to read through the Bible, this timeline breaks the books up to to so many reading categories from "the main message of God" to "the lineage of Jesus", all the while providing very helpful historical and geographical context of what was going on in the secular world and where these biblical events were taking place in the Middle East. I also appreciate that the original 73 books are all included. Very useful tool for Catholics and Christians alike.

A sophisticated, comprehensive, easy-to-use overview of the story line of the Bible. Users with all levels of Biblical literacy will benefit from this useful tool. Well-researched and clearly presented, exceptional value. Highly recommended for those who teach Bible or facilitate study groups. Jeff Cavins demonstrates his skill as a Scripture scholar with this great tool.
