Good graphic novel

Great Green lantern graphic novel! Enjoyed it.Liked how it's setting up the bigger picture, not rushing things. Now onto the next one.

Amazing work by Geoff Johns in his run with the lantern. Fans can get reacquainted with Hal Jordan and friends while new readers can enjoy being sucked in.

GREEN LANTERN'S LIGHT!Geoff Johns is one of the most important contributors to DC Comics, and it is pretty safe to say he's one of my favorite authors of all time. His overall contributions to Green Lantern, the lore, characters, and the events specifically, place him among the best writers comic books has ever seen, and this is the beginning of what would be over half a decade of greatness to the Lanterns.The story collects Rebirth, Hal Jordan (and the Corps) return to the DC Universe, a Secret Files/Origins one shot, 5 Recharge issues, and the first three issues of the game-changing Johns run to the Lanterns.Green Lantern: Rebirth is one of the best reboots a comics franchise has ever seen, revolving around the return of Hal Jordan as well as an essentially dead superhero team back to continuity. It's not just about Hal, however. It also brings other Earth Lanterns back into the mix as well such as Guy Gardner, with others like Kyle Rayner and John Stewart coming back into the spotlight. Johns also involves tensions with other aliens in different sectors, the Guardians of the Universe, the Justice League, showing the full spectacle that is the Lanterns. This also introduces Sinestro as [now] one of the core and most important DC villains, pushing him to the forefront of an epic that promises to create one of the most sinister (pun intended) antagonists in comic history.The art is visually stunning as well. Ethan Van Sciver (Rebirth), Darwyn Cooke (Secret Files/Origins), Patrick Gleason (Recharge), and co. (GL) bring depth and spectacle to Johns' writing as well.It is a book that should be picked up by any comic fan looking to get into the DC Universe and a perfect introduction to the expansion of the Lantern "universe." It is far from a disappointment. Readers will be thrilled with Johns' epic in the first book of the saga.

Gran cómic, geoff johns vino a darle un giro a linterna verde, esta serie es para los fans pero también los q quieren conocer algo del mejor de los linternas verdes, porque de aquí viene la noche más oscura

It was ok. I had high expectations for this book. And I was disapointed. The story and art are ok , but I wanted more. Maybe its me, I usually love Green Lantern , but this one was definitely not my favorite.
