Perko 1248009DP Deck Plate Key

The 2 prongs shown fit smaller diameter deck plates. The side of the key without the prongs did not have the flat metal key shown in the picture for slotted deck plates. So I couldn't use it.

This is not what is pictured but the part number is correct. It fits the Perko 2” gas deck plates on my boat perfectly, making it a great replacement for the one I dropped in the drink at the fuel dock last week. BTW that proved that Davis Key Buoys don’t always work.

The information is wrong this is bigger than it says. This is for large deck plates not gas and waste tanks. There is nothing wrong with it and would get 5 stars if it was what I needed

Good product, but make sure you get the correct size. There are 2 sizes and the pin-to-pin is not clearly described. Since that is the crucial measurement, good luck!

I really wish I read the reviews!! instead I just read the description and looked at the picture like a normal person would. No spade on handle and the keyed area is way to big. Amazon sent me another one for free as I wrote the item is not as described. They sent me the same one. Now I have 2 useless items. A flathead screwdriver has an easier chance of working over this

This tool is very strong endurable I thought it was for my gas but I ordered the wrong otherwise this would be a great deck key

The metal tab on the "handle" is not on either one of the items. I ordered 2. Without that it won't work on My boat. Also might want to note the holes in gas caps are spaced differently. The spacing on these is for a pretty large cap. I am passing them on to a friend with a bigger boat.
