Jarrow Formulas Black Currant Freeze-Dried Extract, Promotes Eye Comfort & Antioxidant Protection, 200 mg, 60 Capsules

Been taking it for a month now, and I believe it is just starting to work for night vision. My eyes are still taking awhile to adjust in the dark but once they do, I can see shadows of things and items when I am walking through the house in the dark where as before I really could not. Last night I did not step on our little dog that was in the hall way as I was moving around, I could see her shadow laying there...so that is a step in the right direction! So I am going to continue to take longer to see if I can get some more improvement.

Proponents of black current and/or its extracts describe a number of potential health benefits.While I am not overly skeptical of claims made for black current or its extracts, my interest was primarily focused on claims purporting to alleviate asthma symptoms.After taking this [Jarrow brand] Blackcurrent extract for over a month, I haven't seen any [asthma] benefits that can clearly be assigned to black current.Neither did I experience any negative side effects, either.While I can't say that it didn't help [I experienced increased energy], other factors may have been responsible.Since my goal was/is to find supplements that help asthma suffers, I can't say that black current is of any observed benefit for my stated purpose.The vendor's price is good, shipping was fast, if I want black current extract again, I know where to get it.

This along with cinnamon has been able to help me keep my blood sugar in check very surprised at how well it does helping me live my normal life

After receiving this product I opened all the capsule and mixed it with blueberry and pomegranate extract .now I mix it everyday in my morning shake which consists of isolate protein powder, green tea matcha, l carnitine, l carnosine, l arginine with aakg, triblend capsule containing Garcinia combogia,green coffee bean extract,raspberry ketones,l carnosine beta alanine,longjack and all you need is just a little bit of everything u font have to be psycho about counting every little thing just put tiny bit and sip It thru the day and it works great .

It works but makes you sweat in the armpit area alot. Saw a reduction in fat on my BMI scale

I had read in one of my alternative medicine newsletters that black currant extract is good for the eyes. I was having difficulty seeing at night so I thought I'd give it a try. I was very surprised and pleased to find it actually improved my night vision. I take it everyday and take some extra when I have to be night driving. I'm glad I found this stuff. Now I don't have to ask friends to drive me around at night.

Used for years. Then wondered why the last few pills in my last order were “gritty” and coated in a glass-like substance. Yikes! The silicon pillow was busted open inside the bottle! Poor QC and won’t buy again. I was loyal but you lost be Jarrow!

A couple of these magical little pills helps get rid of your hangover very quickly.

I had read somewhere that blackcurrant capsules helped prevent certain odours older men suffer from and this product seems to do the trick.

I checked with my niece (a top London consultant) before starting to take the Blackcurrant extract. I had a blocked vein near my heart many years ago. This extract is among other things good for keeping the blood flow going along nicely. So far so good and as my niece said to me: It can't do any harm. It is a bit pricey though but it has to come from New Zealand so perhaps that is why.

I saw one review that said it helped with hot flushes. And if does. It doesn’t take them away completely but I don’t get as many. I had to take them for a month to get results but it was worth it.
