I used this on most recent trip (total 12 hrs) on the plane and it worked wonders. People around me were like what is that. The Southwest flight the clamp fit perfectly on the topside of the closed tray table. On our American airlines flight it was a bit difficult but I was able to get it to fit on the top corner. It took a bit to find the right spot to keep the clamp from falling down. The first time I used the clamp and took it out of the bag the hex nut had fallen out and I was worried that I wasn't going to be able to use the thing on this trip. Thankfully it had fallen in my lap. That is the first watchout. Make sure the hexnut is secure to the screw thing, otherwise the clamp is worthless. Thus far, it seems to be a great product. Glad I purchased. Considering purchasing a second one and using two of these to hold my Amazon tablet. Not sure how well it would work but this is cheap enough to try.

Came with two magnet stickers. I put one inside my thin IPhone case and it had no problem holding up the phone. Very convenient. There is a small wheel to that can be loosened to adjust the pitch (up/down) of the magnetic pad. The clamp. Unlike the q&a answer the clamp opens to a maximum of 3/4" (my desk is exactly 1" and the clamp doesn't come close to fitting). This is disappointing. Although the clamp springs are fairly strong the width significantly reduces the usefulness of this device. It also feels like opening/closing the clamp is going to break fairly quickly (I'll update if it does). I do like it just wish it had a more useful clamp.

Worked perfect for what I wanted! It allows me to watch my iPad at a higher sight level to keep from bending my neck down for hours on a long flight looking down at the tray table or lap. With strategic placement of the magnet plates on your iPad it raises very close to eye level. Only thing that I don’t like is the mount is a bit bulky, as in it does not fold flat in the design but worth it to save my neck.UPDATE: After using for a while the ball joint on the back lost it's tightness and the table would drop. I put paper in the joint to tighten it up but it eventually cracked the plastic. Still able to use for now but I'm sure it will fail soon. Would be cool if they could make that joint stronger or able to tighten.

Bought this for my two kids before a long west coast trip and it was a game changing. an absolute must have. it seamlessly connected to the tray table, and didn't budge an inch until we landed. happy kids happy dad. My favorite thing about this was i was able to have the tray table in the upright position and still use this, instead of having my phone rest on a stand with the tray table infringing on what limited space i have in the airplane i now was able t sue this like a human, with actual space.

I bought this for my 10in Amazon Tablet to use on air travel with my toddler.First impressions, magnet is definitely strong enough to hold the weight, and is very sleek as to not interfere with adding or removing my case.The ball bearing allows for full rotation of the device which shouldn't leave you having to adjust the screw whatsoever.Comes with a travel case which I didn't realize which will be perfect to pack away in a personal bag for flights.My only concern is being able to use the clamp on a closed tray table.**Will update this review upon first flight use!**

Able to keep my head level when watching my phone or tablet on a plane ... excellent product!

The plate dosesnt stick to back of the tablet had use crazy glue.
