wow For such a small heater, I researched space heaters to find not only the safest one but one that would actually warm me and I'm really impressed with the function, the appearance and the price of this unit! The heater is very quiet but the amount and speed of heating is remarkable, again for such a small heater. I may be buying another one for my bedroom as well. This is a great choice!

The heater had an incredibly strong chemical plastic or ceramic smell. Smelled like a magic marker. Our eyes were watering within 5 minutes of opening the box. The smell lingered for hours after removing the heater from the house

This is a quiet heater, which is the main feature I was looking for. But, the button on the bottom that engages it for safety, will not engage on the floor of my carpeted office. So I have had to put it on top of a ceramic coaster. If set on oscillate, this heater "jumps" and it will move off the coaster and it causes it to shut off. Also, the on and off switch on the top is an electronic "touch" and requires multiple touches before it reacts. Not fun when bending under the desk. These are all annoyances that may not cause me to return it, but I wouldn't buy this one again.Update: this heater quit working entirely and I had to replace it.

I live in a place where it snows for several months and I also telecommute for a "desk job". This is the perfect form factor to keep me warm without paying to heat the whole house while my kids are gone. I actually bought it to replace a larger heater that bit the dust, but with the oscillation function and the big power packed into a small package I am feeling toasty without getting too hot in just one area.The touch controls on top to switch between "fan" and "heated fan" and also to toggle oscillation work very well, and there is a helpful but stylish LED to indicate the heat setting. I have also tested the safety switch and feel that it is reliable.I should also note that there was a small issue with the unit I got and the seller both responded in a short time and solved the issue right away. I think that good customer service goes a long way and know that it doesn't always go smoothly when seeking assistance online, so I was very pleased when the seller went out of their way to make sure my issue was resolved.

Here in Texas, the summers and warm but the winters can get pretty chilly! I was looking for a small personal heater for my home office. I enjoyed the fan feature just to get the air circulating and for when it is not so cool. However, the heating feature is what really amazes me about this sweet little device! It is fast and warm but not overpowering. I can comfortably use this during the early mornings.PRO TIP: I initially had issues with trying to figure out how to use this device. I would continue to switch it on but nothing would happen. I realized that there is an extra safety toggle at the BOTTOM OF THE DEVICE that NEEDS to be pushed in before the heater can be turned on.Also, make sure that the fan is placed only on a solid surface. I had this placed on a fuzzy rug and it would keep tipping over. Fortunately, it automatically turns off when it tips over, also for safety measures.Cons:I wish it had more heat settings and temperatures, but at the price it is still an excellent deal!

I use this just to warm a very small bathroom. Does not throw out much heat, but enough as to not be cold. The material is cheesy. There are no real dials .

Worst item ever. Only worked in one outlet. Blew the hottest air imaginable. No temperature adjustment setting. Hot air smelled of chemicals. First time I will return an item to Amazon.
