MY PEACHES & TOMATOES HAVE STAYED FIRM IN MY CANNING
I have been canning all my own vegetables this past year from my garden. My problem was that I do not like when my tomatoes get all mushy, I wanted my salsa to have firmer tomato chunks in it. The canning group I belong too told me to use calcium chloride. It is a salt that keeps fruits and vegetables firm in the canning process, so when you open the jar in 6 months it will still taste fresh and the produce will still look like produce. My husband and I have really been enjoying the salsa, it is a peach salsa and the peaches and tomatoes have stayed very nice in the jar, nice and firm. This is food grade and it is non gmo, vegan, and kosher. Very happy with it so far.

Worked perfectly
We needed this for a science fair project. It came well packaged and in good shape (no clumping or anything). It worked for what we needed it for. Was well packaged.

This calcium worked well with cheese making!!
I bought this product when I needed to do a cheese demo for a club on my university campus. It was the only one I could find that wasn't horrendously expensive and was food grade. Overall it worked very well.Just a little expensive for only 50g, but I support small business growth.

A must for popping boba tea!
This arrived so fast. I use this to make popping boba tea for the grandkids. Love seeing those smiles when they see me making them. I'll never let myself run out!

Works good for what I got
This works great for what I got kind it for of salty. I made Boba with it. The bag is kind of small. I was hoping it would be bigger for the price. The chunks are pretty big so I would find a different one if you want a thin powder they dissolve quickly and don’t smell bad great for making Boba.

Fancy "smartwater" for pennies
I use this with other salts to make "smartwater" for my husband. Why pay over $30.00 a month to make the same thing for less than $1.00 a month? This plus magnesium salt (plain Epsom salt,) fancy regular salt, and Morton's salt substitute (potassium salt) are all it takes. A tiny pinch of each, in 20 ounces of water, and it's done.If that sounds like it would take too long, mix the last three, put in an air tight container, and use a big pinch of the mix plus one tiny pinch of this calcium chlorideThe Calcium chloride has to be kept separate and dry because it will absorb water and turn gooey.

Useful as an electrolyte
Got this to try and replicate a store bought alkaline water with electrolytes added that I really liked. One of the ingredients was calcium carbonate. Using this and 2 other ingredients, I was able to replicate the quality of water at home, without the #1 plastic bottles. (It even has a warning on the bottle about BPA) If you are using any form of calcium, make sure you do not take too much, as hypercalcemia can cause heart problems. (I'm only adding less than 1/64th tsp. per gallon of water.)
