The diameter of the bulb I have to replace is 1.4 inches about 3.5cm. What is the diameter of these?

Diameter: 1.38 inch Base: GU4 Bi-Pin 2 Pin (4mm or 0.16 inch Apart)

The picture is showing the leds exposed, is this correct?

The picture is deceiving. The LEDs are under the glass cover

I love these but they are too bright. any suggestions for something led that is a bit dimmer? my product doesn't have dimming capabilities.

I simply put a piece of electrician's tape on the number of led diodes needed to dim these down to an acceptable level. Worked fine.
