The faded trim on my 4 year old car is shining once again! I applied it about 3 weeks ago and it’s still shining. This is fast and easy to apply. I used a soft cloth and gently wiped those areas. Immediately I saw results. The small scratches disappeared. It’s a good value as I only used a small amount. Plenty left to reapply as needed or for other uses.

This stuff really is amazing. I'm not sure how it works, but it borders on magic. I used it on my 2017 Sprinter van which has lots of vinyl paneling that has been sun-fadded. The difference was striking. It didn't take a before picture, but I did include the after. It looks brand new and the surprising thing, is it keeps looking that way - even a month later. If you look a the picture you can see a few spots I missed that show what before was like. I used this on my 2015 truck with the same results.

I tried the Meguiar's Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer, and I’d say it works, but it isn’t perfect. Even though it claims to provide long lasting UV protection, I noticed the black finish starting to fade again pretty quickly after a few days of sun exposure and rain. I found myself needing to reapply it more often than I would like, and that can get frustrating if you’re expecting a product that holds up better in different weather conditions.Overall, I’d give it 3 stars. It’s good if you just want your trim to look better temporarily, like before a car show, a sale, or even just for your own satisfaction. But if you’re looking for something that will keep your trim black and protected for weeks on end without reapplication, this might not meet your expectations.

This worked extremely well for black plastic that detailer left wax (or whatever it was) all over my vehicle. I used it with the Meguiar's yellow pads. (It can stay a little slippery so do not use it on your steps/running boards unless you can counteract the slip)
