A: Lower the better.

**Q: can i use if inverter is having single wire output and neutral is common? will it trip if inverter will generate extra current**
A: No.i am using.

**Q: Can connect enter home include inverter , single phase 2hp motor**
A: As this one is for 40Amp load. So you can connect entire house including inverter, motor etc. 
But should be careful about leakage current, if it exceeds 30ma, the unit will keep tripping

**Q: 40Amp capacity specification is per pole phase or is it sum total?**
A: I think it's per pole
