It's worth to read!
I'm new at Program management as a professional. I had previous experience running projects as a second activity.Working for a strongly process driven company, I started facing problems that I thought were specific to my current position and context. Now I'm glad to find out with this book that most of the problems I'm facing are much more common than I thought. And the recommended solutions, eventhough may not be for direct application to everyone's situation, it's a good starting point and incentive to solve theirs problems.Have this book in your desktop drawer, you will need it and use it!

This is like a self-help book for project managers
This is like a self-help book for project managers. Kendrick does a nice job describing some of the problems that team leaders face and offers quick solutions for how to deal with them. Some of the responses are generic but all-in-all its a useful book for any PM.

Reasonable for generating ideas
A reasonable book for ideas on how to deal with unusual project management problems. I have used it a couple of times just to read the authors perspective to gain other ideas.

Great for Project Managers
I have read more than enough textbooks. We need more readable books like this to put the meat on them dry bones!

Not the best
Fairly shallow content. Not much meat and if you've been studying PM for any length time, this book has nothing new for you.
