I'm getting older and realizing I need to be taking better care of myself. My hair seems to be thinning and I'm not yet ready to begin my career as a Telly Savalas impersonator.. I've read that supplementing with biotin could slow the thinning and strengthen what remains and bulk powder seemed to give me the most bang for my buck. A very small dose is all that's needed and it's undetectable in any liquid. You can even take it without water. It doesn't really taste like anything at all. After a couple of weeks of semi-regular use, it seems to be working. I'm noticing much less fallout and even my nails are growing faster and healthier. I'm very happy so far and just purchased a capsule filling machine so I can hopefully get on a more regular schedule of taking this every morning.(I'm not a morning person and I'm typically short on time before I must leave for work, lol) If you're looking to save some hair or improve the health of your hair and nails, give it a try. The dose is tiny, so the bag will last forever.

I bought this biotin powder, as so many of the capsules have fillers, and this is a good alternative. My hair suddenly started thinning, so I realized I needed help. Biotin is the supplement recommended for that. I haven't been taking it long enough yet to notice a difference.But I'm struggling with it, as it doesn't dissolve. I put it in my mid morning coffee, and it all sinks to the bottom, I have to swirl it around at the end to get it into my mouth, and it's like fine grit, it gets in between my teeth. Not pleasant. I will continue with the packet, with the hope that the positive benefit outweighs the negative.

Very disappointed, this is not biotin it is 99% Dicalium Phosphate. It is a fraud to advertise that it is pure biotin and in fact it is 99% Dicalcium Phosphate. Only 1% is biotin. Dicalcium Phosphate is poisonous and you get kidney stones from it. Do not use it, it is dangerous for the health of the kidneys.

It’s grainy, hard to swallow. The bag says 1% biotin when you get it not 10,000mcg so idk what that means. But personally I’ve been taking a lot more than the recommended dose but the results are promising. 2 weeks in and my nails have doubled in strength. I wouldn’t say my hair is any more full but the actual hair follicles are getting huge and are definitely repairing themselves. As well as getting longer in general.

I wanted to wait a bit after I started taking this suppliment-it's only been 3 weeks & I don't think i'll notice the results I want for a couple months. Mainly, my problem is weak, splitting, chipping, & breaking fingernails. All my life I had the strongest and thickest nails, but the last 3 yrs I can barely grow them past my fingertips, especially on the middle fingers which chip and peel at about 3/4th from the fingertip, despite my trying to keep them short and always covered with strengthened and polishes. I'm pretty healthy & eat right, take lots of vitamins, but I now take prescriptions for high blood pressure, depression, and pain from bone degeneration- one of these has to be at fault. I've been taking some other powders from Bulk Suppliments, in hopes of cutting back on scripts. This company's products so far are a GREAT deal for the money, easy to take in a juice, and you don't get the sick feeling of taking multiple gelatin capsules. This biotin's suggested dose is actually 1/64th of a teaspoon! It's a completely flavorless & finely ground- you can just take a tiny bit on your fingertip from a 1/8 tsp measure spoon, and you're done! I saw a lot of great reviews so I'm looking forward to faster hair growth too- as a stylist, I do a lot of various colors and cuts, but like longer hair. I'm confidant this is a great product, so I will update later! I bought the $20 bag, so I will be taking this faithfully for the next few years. The bag is really thick, resealable & insulated, btw.
