Powerful Writing Strategies for All Students

I got this book to give me ideas to help adults with dyslexia have strategies for helping them cope with writing. Once spellings improve, writing is still a big hurdle. Many adults have software to help with reading and spelling but unless they have been taught writing strategies explicitly, they hit a brick wall (well, most of them). I am now using this book and the students are enthusiastic about putting the two strategies learned so far into practice. I have to adjust my teaching of the material slightly, in appropriate language, and use sample essays that are suitable for adults. I am building up a store of projector slides to accompany the strategies for use with future classes. A different photo on the cover might be more appropriate as it's for ALL students. I don't like the adult students seeing it with a picture of a child.
