Although we couldn't tell the dimensions from the product description, we decided to give it a try anyway, since there was free return shipping. When it arrived, we found that it was significantly larger than we had imagined. Before returning it, we measured the empty wallet so we can pass that info on to future customers: 7-3/4 inches wide, 4-1/2 inches high, 1-3/4 inches deep. Okay so this wallet is HUGE!!!! I posted a picture so you guys can see it compared to my hand. I'm an adult, not a child but my hand looks like a toddler hand next to this thing. It's very well made and extremely roomy. It's too big for what I need it for though. I was hoping for a longer slimmer one with lots of card space and although I knew this was going to be a fat wallet, I didn't realize it was going to be purse sized (good sized clutch). I am rating it 4 stars because of the great quality and the compartment space but I took a star away because mine didn't come with a calculator or a pen like advertised.

Recently ordered this and I love it so far! Roomy enough for cash/coin, check book & register, credit cards, reward cards, gift cards, coupons, etc..... I love being able to have all these things in one place instead of having 3 separate wallets. I am submitting a picture of mine with everything I listed above included.

I bought the Mundi clutch leather wallet a year ago and recently lost it. So I ordered this one. I mean why not? I liked the quality of the clutch one... Well this one looks nothing like the picture and the quality is way off. In the pictures on amazon the leather is smooth and the interior is leather. The wallet I got does not have that same texture. The interior is not leather either. It just makes the wallet feel chunky and cheap. Very cheap. And then the calculator which is pictured as white, is brown and black! And I didn't get any kind of stick or stylus like the picture showed. It's just disappointing. Feels like I was swindled out of what the majority said was a great wallet. Years ago I was given one of these wallets as a gift. It was the burgundy faux crocodile and was just about the ugliest thing ever. But so as not to offend the person who gave it to me, I started using it, and it turned out to be my favorite wallet. For several years, it held everything I needed and more, and I only gave it up when I'd finally worn it to bits. My next wallet was nice, but I really missed the room of my Mundi one.Recently, I noticed my wallet falling apart again, so I decided to shop for another one and came across my old favorite here on Amazon. It seems they've changed the design a bit -- in some of the styles, there's just a flap of material dividing the zippered compartment, and in others there's a little zipped change purse serving as the divider. That zippered change purse was what I wanted, so I finally settled on the silver one. Not my first choice of finish, but it had the feature I wanted and was a great price.Unfortunately, when mine arrived, I realized just how bad this silver is going to be. Even though all the packaging was perfect, the wallet had a discolored circle on it, and when I rubbed my finger across it, a piece of the silver just flaked right off, exposing a cream-colored fabric below it. So it was flawed to begin with, and then just lightly rubbing it ruins it? At this rate, it's not going to last a week in my handbag before becoming an ugly, scratched up mess. There's also some small, blue, ink-like staining on the zipper pull tab, so I'm not sure what to do about that. Now I have to return it and start shopping for something else. And that's really sad because otherwise it's THE perfect wallet. My previous Mundi wallet looked good for years, so I'm not sure if I should pick out a different color/finish, or if they're all this bad now. In any case, stay away from the silver one; the quality is abysmal.

This is a great wallet, as long as you are not a minimalist. There are essentially two sides/halves to the wallet. One side is a zippered closure with an expandable-file type organization with two large open areas (perfect for cash or receipts) separated by a zippered pocket (perfect for keeping your change next to your cash). What is nice about the two main sections on this side of the wallet is you won't have to stuff/shove your cash or receipts into a too small/tight area of your wallet. The other half of the wallet has a snap closure and you can use one of two different snaps, depending on how fat you stuff your wallet. This half of the wallet has the built-in ID holder, checkbook slot, photo holder, and credit card holders. Both halves of the wallet have several "extra" flat pockets that don't take up room, but give you even more options to further organize your stuff. As the name says, this wallet is really wide (about 2 inches), so it looks and feels like a clutch. Unless you carry a large purse, just realize this will take up a lot of room in your purse, which will work fine as long as you don't have too many other items competing for space. Also, the little extras--removable ID holder, pen holder, etc. are helpful to keeping organized. I think it is a great wallet, except that it is a little awkward for me to fit both this wallet and my Pouchee purse organizer (both of which I love) into my medium-sized purse (which I also love).
