My previous iron suddenly broke....think I had it for over 10 years so..can't complain🤣..looking for a replacement I was quite shocked at the prices. This iron caught my attention RRP £49.99 on offer for £17.99.I wanted a light weight iron for normal household use - fitted the bill.perfectly.On receipt I was pleased with the look & feel of the iron.Using the plastic water jug provided I filled the tank with water..ready to go!I was really pleased with the ease of use also with the performance ..my sheets looked great even ironing from very dry they were crease free.The iron heats up very quickly.You can also use to steam vertically which is fab for curtains & dresses etc.Russell Hobbs is a well known brand so feel confident in the quality.My only negatives were thatI found the cover for the water inlet a bit flimsy. There is no where to wrap the cord around to keep in place for storage.That said I think it's a great iron. I am pleased with my purchase it does a good job, lightweight, great value when on offer. For that I would reccommend.Not sure if I would pay the full price though.

I bought this in 2017 and it got recycled in 2025 because the cable frayed and looked dangerous at the point where it joins the iron. So, for an iron that was used nearly every day for the past 8 years that was pretty good going; it did a good job, no complaints about the way it functioned.I dropped a star because I felt the cable could have been a little longer.

Easy to use, simple and good value. Heats up quickly, nit too heavy, no complaints.

I have been using this iron for a couple of weeks and so far it has proved to be an excellent tool. It is reasonably lightand steams well, it was fairly inexpensive and heats up Quickly. It could a slightly longer cable but otherwise a good iron. JR.

For the money I pay for this iron it was very good.It is nice and easy to use. It is very light and good for people with arthritis he had a long flexible cord and heated up to top temperature quickly it made a nice job and nonstick ironing of most items. I struggled to quickly and easily remove creases from heavy cotton items with this iron but I recognise that this is not a fault with iron. I just was expecting far too much for a low priced item. I recognise that I needed to pay a lot more money for a steam generator die in to get the quick and easy results I needed on happy cotton. I have iPhone please with my purchase use this on a daily basis for items that are so heavily creased, I found the light weight of this iron it’s a great benefit to me regarding arthritis pain as of the fact that is totally nonstick and hasn’t put any of my clothes

I have been using this iron for one year and 2 months and overall, it performs very well. The heating time is quick, the soleplate glides smoothly, and it removes creases with very little effort. For the actual ironing performance, I would say it’s definitely one of the better irons I have used in this price range.However, one issue really stands out — the cable is extremely short. This means you must place your ironing board very close to the socket, which isn’t always convenient. With other irons I’ve owned (including models like the one-temperature Russell Hobbs), the cable length was much longer, allowing much more flexibility in how and where I iron.Pros:-Heats up quickly and delivers consistent temperature-Glides smoothly and removes creases easily-Lightweight and comfortable to hold-Steam output is strong enough for everyday fabrics-Good price for the performanceCons:-Power cable is too short-Water tank could be slightly larger-Not ideal if your plug sockets are far from your ironing areaOverall :A solid, effective iron that performs its main job well — clothes come out smooth and wrinkle-free. But the short cable is the one thing that holds it back, especially compared to other irons with longer, more convenient cords.

Well, it's an iron. Not too.much to say. I like ot. It's a greatnprice and I chose ot because its Russell Hobbs. Im happy with it and think.its great value.

I have to pay postage fee for refund and the seller also charged me restocking fee for refund. This is the worst customer service I have experienced. I do not recommend this product.

The iron itself is very good, however ordering from Amazon Australia you'd expect an Australian plug not a UK plug! Fortunately I have an adapter, but very disappointed and a little annoyed!

Although sold by Amazon UK, the plug is not Australian. Not I need to spend another couple of dollars for a conversion adapter 🤣🤣🤣 hence the 1 star review. I’d rate zero stars if I could.
